Art With Heart Blog Hop - Casing the 2018-2019 Catalogue

This month the Art With Heart Team are featuring cards that have been CASED from the new 2018-2019 catalogue. Cased, in this instance means Copied and Share Everything.
If you would like a copy of the 2018 - 2019 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

The first card I chose to case is on page 105 in the catalogue. I love the Healing Hugs set, and wanted to use my new Stitched All Around Thinlits so I combined them on this card. I used Lovely Lipstick instead of Coastal Cabana.

The second card I cased is from page 48 in the new catalogue and features the P.S. I Love You set.
The greetings in this set suit a range of occasions. I often case the sample cards in the catalogue to get a feel for the set before feeling confident enough to make my own creations with a new set.

Below is a complete list of team members participating in the blog hop. Next on the list is the amazing Tina Gillespie.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop - Berry Burst

This week the Art With Heart Team are featuring Berry Burst in their Colour Creation blog hop.
I chose to use the Healing Hugs stamp set. I stamped and cut out two of the floral elements and three of the leaf sets. These Distinkive stamp sets make it soooo easy to get a great 3D effect in your stamping with just one application. All of the images used in this card are included in the Healing Hugs stamp set.

The only embelishments I added to this card are rhinestones and small pieces of Berry Burst ruffled riddon and Granny Apple Green ribbon.
This was a very eay colour to work with and I’ll be sad to see it go next year.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop

It's Tuesday again which means that the Art With Heart Team is back to another colour from the Stampin Up! range.
This week we're featuring Basic Gray.

For this card I inked up the super cute Little Elephant stamp set and used the coordinating punch to punch out the three elephants. The silver and white twine was coloured Soft Sea Foam by dragging it through the ink pad and squishing it in with a sponge dauber. The smaller images are also in the Little Elephant set, with the flowers being coloured by Stampin Write Markers.

Lined Alphabet and Layered Alphabet

It took a few trial and errors to get the cardstock size correct using these dies, but I'm quite happy with how these cards turned out for a first try.

For this card I used the Lined Alphabet to White Emboss each of the letters after they were cut out. The Dragonflies are from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.

These letters were left without stamping as I felt the vivid colours stood out on their own. Discontinued Picture Perfect DSP was used to finish the card.

For this card the letters were stamped in the coordinating colour after they were cut out. The Birthday stamp is from the Birthday Banners set. The DSP used here is called Garden Impressions, and the flowers are cut using the Springtime Impressions Thinlits.
