Art With Heart Colour Creations - Call Me Clover

Today the Art With Heart Team are featuring one of the new In Colours, Call Me Clover. This is a lovely, bright, clear green.

It is one of the colours used in the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper. I cut one of the crocodiles from the paper and mounted it on Dimensionals and placed it back in the original hole. The greeting is from the Animal Outing Stamp set.

The Call Me Clover from the card base shows though, under the crocodile. The greeting is stamped on Soft Sea Foam and cut with the 1 3/8" Scallop Punch. This is mounted on a 1 1/2" circle in Call Me Clover, then on a 1 3/4" circle of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.

For more samples using Call Me Clover, head to Cathy's Blog where she has a full list of participants.

Happy Stampin.

Art With Heart Blog Hop July - Designer Series Paper

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring designer series paper. This month, Stampin’ Up! have a special on designer series paper, buy 3, get 1 free! We hope our blog hop inspires you to get crafting with your designer series paper.

The Designer Series Paper I have chosen to use for my projects today is the Wood Textures Paper. This is the second year this paper has been available and I still love it! It comes as a 6" x  6" stack, and there are 12 different designs, w
ith 4 sheets of each design, total of 48 sheets in the pack.

These first two cards use Wood Textures DSP as a neutal background.

This card features a die cut from the Botanical Tags Thinlits, with the embossed and stamped images from the coordinating Botanical Bliss stamp set.

This card used the Very Vintage Hostess set, with the main image embossed in White Embossing Powder. I coloured over the embossing with Blends Markers in Flirty Flamingo, Cherry Cobbler and Call Me Clover. The beautiful die across the bottom of the card is from the Delicate Lace Edgelits.

The final card was cased from a fellow demonstrator, Melissa Stout. It's a great way to use up those thin strips of DSP. This technique shows many of the designs in the Wood Textures stack and could easily be used with any of the other DSP packs as each of them contains 12 different but coordinating designs. The greeting is from the Lots of Happy kit.

For more information on any of these projects and the supplies used, feel free to contact me.

The next stop on our Blog Hop is the lovely Leanne Mitchell, who has some more beautiful projects to share with you.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Cajun Craze

Today the Art with Heart Team are featuring Cajun Craze from our Regals colour family.
This colour always makes me think of Autumn, so here are two projects featuring leaf images.
The technique I have used for both these cards is called Black Ice. The leaf image is from the Rooted in Nature stamp set. The copper foil sheets coordinate beautifully with Cajun Craze.
The second card features the leaf image from the Blended Seasons stamp set which is a special release, only available to customers for the month of August. This set has coordinating framelits that have the most amazing shaped dies, check them out in the supplies list below. Great set for all year round.
To give this card a little more interest I have coloured the leaves with Blends Markers. This is usually a no-no with Stazon Ink, but I was very careful not to colour over the lines(too much).
Don't forget the amazing joining offer, ends 31st of July, contact me for more details.
I hope you've enjoyed my Cajun Craze cards, for more inspiration head to Catherine's Blog for a full list of today's participants.
Happy Stampin,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Blushing Bride

Finally back with another AWHT Colour Creations entry. This week we are featuring Blushing Bride.
The set I am using is called Blended Seasons and it is a Special Release that is only available to customers for the month of August. This set has coordinating Thinlits that include the shape the greeting is on. As a demonstrator I got to have a play with it a month early.

I paired Blushing Bride with Copper Embossing Powder on Shimmery White cardstock, which is a great option to watercolour paper if you want to use Aquapainters. The ink colours I used were Blushing Bride (of course) and Soft Sea Foam.

Here's a closer look at the Copper Embossing.
