Art With Heart Monthly Creative Showcase - Feb

Welcome to another Creative Showcase with the Art With Heart Team.

This month we are featuring Masculine themed projects. We have many masculine themed products in the Stampin’ Up! range including Stamp Sets and coordinating Dies, Designer Series Papers, Embellishments and Embossing Folders.
The Art With Heart Team have a wonderful selection of projects to inspire you to create Masculine Masterpieces.
For tonight's card I have used the Pedal to the Metal stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. Sharing a house with a couple of petrol heads, this stamp set was a must have.

I combined this set with the Rooted in Nature stamp set for the trees in the background. I coloured the tree stamp with Stampin' Markers to give a multi coloured effect. The trees on the Garden Green background were stamped in Garden Green ink.

I stamped the Ute twice in Memento Black and coloured them with Stampin' Blends Markers. These images were then fussy cut with Stampin' Snips. A small piece of Early Espresso card stock was embossed with the Corrugated Embossing Folder. Burlap Ribbon was place on top of the Early Espresso piece.

I stamped more multi coloured trees, the tracks and the greeting inside the card.
To make the pop up piece inside the card I cut two small slits in the fold of the insert and folded the cut section towards the inside of the card. he Ute was attached to this piece with Glue Dots.

I think I will have to repeat this card with the other images in the set, the motorbike and the buggie.

Next stop on the Blog Hop is the amazingly clever Rebecca Jacovou.

Poppy Party Class Countdown - Days 10 and 11

Here is yesterday's card which I did not manage to post on time, sorry again.
I've combined the Painted Poppies stamp set with Gold Embossing, Basic Black and very sparkly Gold Glimmer Paper.

The background paper is a sheet from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP.

Today's card is another that is a but different. I have stamped the field of poppies image four times around in a circle, in Memento Ink. The images were coloured with the splatter stamps in Real Red and Old Olive.

To add a bit of sparkle to the card I have attached some of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins with Tombo Glue.

Here are the cards we will be completing a the Poppy Party Card Class.. Please confirm your attendance by 12th of Feb if you would like to attend.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Poppy Party Card Class Countdown - Day 8 and 9

Unfortunately I was feeling very unwell yesterday which is why I'm back today with day 8 and  9 together.

Firstly I combined the poppies from the Painted Poppies with the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.

The poppies were coloured with Poppy Parade Blends Markers, light and dark and were die cut using the Painted Labels Dies which coordinate with the Painted Poppies stamp set.

The second card uses the bud image from the Painted Poppies stamp set. This image was stamped three times on Whisper White card stock and coloured with Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade Blends Markers.

The images were cut out using a square die from the Stitched Shapes dies.

The Pretty Peacock card background has been embossed with the Stone 3D embossing folder which is part of the Power of Hope Sale-a-bration rewards bundle. Available for free when you spend $180 on Stampin' Up! products.
The ribbon across the back of the card is Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
This was then mounted on a Pretty Peacock card base.

I already have my sparkly card ready for tomorrow, so I will see you then.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Poppy Party Countdown - Day 7

I have a more subtle coloured card to share with you today. It still features the Painted Poppy set, but the images are watercoloured.

I have heat embossed the poppies with White Emboss Powder and then watercoloured them using an Aquapainter. This results in a much softer colour palette. The panel was then mounted on a Pool Party card base.

The greeting is from the Layered With Kindness stamp set.

One week to go until my Poppy Party card class. I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration using this stamp set. It's getting difficult to decide which projects to use for the class. I'll have to decide soon so that I can prepare!
Happy stamping,
Rachel
