Blackberry Bliss Hand-Penned Petals

Hello folks, this card was supposed to be part of the Colour Creations Showcase but I've had a busy week arguing with Facebook about my account and it's school holidays and I missed the cutoff so... I thought I would share it with you anyway.

I love this card as it demonstrates the colour co ordination of the Stampin' Up! products. This card uses two different set of DSP packs. I couldn't find any DSP that Worked for this card so I coloured a piece of the Love Always DSP with the Blends Markers. I also used a strip of the Ice Cream Corner DSP. Both of these DSP are discontinued from midnight TONIGHT!!! ORDER NOW!!!

The flowers and foliage were cut from the Penned Flowers Dies. The speckles in the background are from the Colour and Contour stamp set.

Don't forget that tomorrow marks the start of our DSP sale.

Colour Creations Showcase week 4 Bermuda Bay

Week 4 of the Colour Creations Showcase features the bright and bold Bermuda Bay. Bermuda Bay lives in the Bold Stampin' Up! colour family. Each week my fellow team members and I will be featuring a different Stampin' Up! colour in alphabetical order, hence week 4 is Bermuda Bay.

I'm trying to use as many products from the Jan to June Catalogue that will be discontinued after the end of June so this was the perfect time to dig out the Snail Mail Designer Series papers.

I combined the papers with a new die from the Annual Catalogue for 2021-2022, called Picture This.

I fussy cut some of the images from the Snail Mail paper.

I wanted the toadstool to have a bit some colour so I coloured the stem in Bermuda Bay Blends and the underside with the Pool Party Blends.

I tied a small piece of the Real Red stitched ribbon from the Playful Pets Combo pack between the two snails.

The card front is mounted on a Pool Party card base.

Make sure you check out more Bermuda Bay inspiration by clicking on the NEXT button below or by using the links in the list below. Next stop on our blog hop is Diane Furniss.

Remember the Jan to June Catalogue finishes at the end of June and many of the discontinued products are reduced.
Head to my online store to pick up some bargains.

Rachel

Colour Creations Showcase week 3 Basic Gray

I'm back with week 3 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop featuring Basic Gray, one of our Neutral Colours. Every week we are featuring one of our beautiful colours in our blog hops in alphabetical order. The list of participants can be found at the end of this post so that you will not miss out on any of our inspirational projects.

I have chosen to pair Basic Gray with Smoky Slate, a lovely delicate gray and three other soft colours, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia.

The stamp set I'm using is Handsomely Suited and the matching papers from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue, Well Suited DSP.

I cut a strip of three different DSP to the width of the card. I stamped three of the bow ties, two of one and one of the other in Basic Gray ink. They were coloured with Blends Markers in Soft Sea Foam and Fresh Freesia.

There are matching dies in the Suit and Tie dies but I chose to fussy cut them so that I did not have a white border around the ties. The ties are each mounted on a circle of Smoky Slate card stock.

I used the greeting from the Art Gallery stamp set and stamped Happy Birthday repeatedly across two strips of Basic White card stock, in Basic Gray ink.
