Colour Creations Showcase Week 18 Garden Green

Hello fellow stampers. It's time for week 18 of the Colour Creations Showcase with my friends from the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring on of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are featuring Garden Green, one of our many greens from the Regals Colour Family. Garden Green is usually a colour that I keep for Christmas creations, but the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP from the annual catalogue has changed my thinking.

I used my trusty paper snips to fussy cut three of the images from the DSP. I actually have two sets of snips, I keep one pair for cutting paper only and the other ones for all of my other cutting.

I made the background by cutting a mask using one of the Basic Border Dies, in the cloud shape. I used a Blending Brush and applied Balmy Blue over the mask across the top of the background piece.

The frame around the plants was cut from a piece of In Good Taste DSP using two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The card base is Garden Green card stock.

For more Garden Green inspiration it's time to head to Rosa Leyden's blog for the next step in our blog hop.

If you lose your way in our blog hop or find a broken link head to Tina's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,

Heart of Christmas week 13 - Whimsical Trees

Welcome to week 13 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Just to let you know, there is now less than three months until Christmas. If you haven't started already now is the time to get started on your Christmas projects. Join us every Monday evening for more Christmas inspiration.

This week I have used the Christmas Tree Dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle. Actually I only used the two small trees numerous times, with different greens in the Stampin' Up! range.

The fifth tree was cut from Be Dazzling 6" x 6" Specialty Paper which is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration rewards. For every $90 spent you can choose a FREE reward from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Sale-a-bration finishes on the 30th of September so place your orders before then to earn your FREE rewards.

I have also used a couple of strips of Be Dazzling paper either side of the embossed piece. The embossing folder I used was from the Wintry 3D Embossing pack. These embossing folders are a smaller size which are designed to fit in the small Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.

The base behind the trees was cut using the large scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The ribbon I used on this card is the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I used the Dark Shaded Spruce Blends Marker to colour the ribbon to better suit the card. The greeting from the Peaceful Deer stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on Mint Macron card stock. The card base is Just Jade card stock.

All of the products I have used to make this card are listed below as well as links to my online store. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Don't forget Sale-a-bration finishes on the 30th of September!

For more Christmas inspiration it's now time to see what the very talented Andrea Sargent has to share with us.

Heart of Christmas Week 12 Classic Cloche Bundle

Hello, here again with week 12 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from my good friend Christine Blain or you may be starting here. Make sure you visit all of the stops in our blog hop to view the amazing Christmas creations that the Art With Heart Team have to share with you this week. The link to the next blog is at the end of this post.

This week I have used the Classic Cloche Bundle to make my card.

I stamped the cloche stamp with Memento Black ink and coloured lightly with a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.

The trees were die cut from Garden Green card stock and the base of the cloche was cut from a tiny strip of one of the In Good Taste DSP sheets.

The stitched rectangles behind the cloche were cut from one of the sheets in the Penguin Playmates DSP, which is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration rewards and Soft Sea Foam card stock.

I stamped the greeting on Basic White card stock and cut it out using the largest oval from the Double Oval Punch.
All of the products I have used for my project are listed below with links to my online store.
Don't forget only 10 days left of Sale-a-bration, make sure you place your orders by the 30th of Sept to earn your free rewards.
