Heart of Christmas- week 11 Delicate Pines Christmas Tree

Hello stamping friends. Welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.  After this week there is only two weeks to go of our Heart of Christmas Blog Hop.

For this week's Blog Hop I chose to use the Delicate Pines Bundle with an unusual spin.

I stamped the main pine 'snowflake' image in Old Olive ink. I added the tiny pine sprig in Mossy Meadow to add a bit more depth. I stamped the smaller pine 'snowflake' in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut of the snowflakes out with the co ordinating dies and then cut these pieces into sections to make the Christmas tree. Please contact me if you would like further instructions.

I cut some of the delicate pine sprigs from Old Olive card stock. These pine sprigs were layered between the stamped sections for added texture.

The ornaments on the tree are Rhinestone Jewels coloured with a Real Red Marker. The greeting was embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.

The Christmas tree was mounted on an Everyday Arches Die cut.

It's now time to see what the lovely Claire Daly has to share with us.

Heart of Christmas week 10 - Ornamental Christmas

I'm finally back for another Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. We only have a few weeks left of our Christmas Blog Hop so I am going to make an extra big effort to be here for each of them.

For today's card I have used the Ornamental Christmas Bundle. To make the background for my card I stamped the Merry Christmas greeting numerous times in Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock.

I embossed another Merry Christmas and the 'spikey' tree in Gold Embossing Powder. I cut out the embossed greeting with a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and the tree with the co ordinating die.

I added a bow from the Black, White and Gold Bakers Twine and some sparkly dots from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins. The card base is Real Red.

I'm very pleased with this card, and it will be really easy to replicate.

It's now time to hop over and see what Rosa Leyden has to share with us.

Heart of Christmas week 7 - Ornamental Christmas Baubles

Hi Stampers, welcome to week 7 of the Heart of Christmas with the Art With Heart Team.

For tonight's cards I have used the Ornamental Christmas Dies and the Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP. Unfortunately the photos do not do this paper justice, it is BEAUTIFUL!

I have cut baubles using the Ornamental Christmas Dies from various sheets of the DSP.

For the first card I used three baubles for a Slim Line Card. The Old Olive foliage is from the Christmas Greenery Dies and the greeting is from the Traditional Labels Bundle.

This DSP is amazing, it's my favourite Christmas DSP for a long time.

For the second card I only use two baubles as it is a standard sized card. I have stamped the greeting from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set on one of the baubles in Gold Embossing Powder.

The next blog in our hop tonight belongs to Sharon Davern. Sharon is also the amazing host of our Christmas Blog Hops, so if you encounter any problems with the links head to her blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas - week 2 Jolly Holly

It's time for week 2 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.
For this week's card I have used the Jolly Holly Bundle. I used the Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Die to emboss two pieces of Basic White Card stock.

I coloured the holly leaves with a Water Painter and Granny Apple Green ink. The holly berries were coloured with Real Red ink. I mounted these pieces to a piece of Garden Green card stock and then onto a Granny Apple Green card base. I made this card extra long by folding a 21cm x 21cm piece of Granny Apple Green in half.

The greeting was stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White and cut out with stitched rectangle dies. I added a bow in a retired Real Red ribbon and a few Cherry Cobbler Adhesive-backed Berries.

Next blog in our hop belongs to Sharon Davern.
