Colour Creations Blog Hop week 37 - Petal Pink Park

Hello stamping friends, I've finally made it back to the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week the team have been continuing to feature one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are up to Petal Pink, which is a delicate peach pink that is in the Subtle Colour family.
Petal Pink is used in many of the current Designer Series Papers so I chose to feature the Regency Park DSP from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue. Regency Park DSP co ordinates with both the Petal Park Punch Bundle and the Sentimental Park Stamp and Dies Bundle, both of which I have used on my card.

I matched the colours of the flowers and leaves to one of the sheets of DSP. The center of the flowers were coloured by hand with the Mango Melody and Night of Navy Blends Markers.

To match the leaves I stamped the outline in Shaded Spruce ink and then stamped off the stamp for the solid image that colours in the leaves.

The flowers were cut out using the co ordinating punch and the leaves were fussy cut.

Whilst I had all of the supplies out on my desk I was inspired to crank out one more card.

I'm very happy to have made it back for the blog hop, hopefully I'll be back next week with the next beautiful Stampin' Up! colour, Polished Pink.

Now it's time to see what amazing creation Di Furniss has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

  3. Rachel, both of these cards are so beautiful. I love how you stamped the flowers and leaves to mimic the patterned paper on your first card and used the dies to create the embellishments on your second card. Love the ribbon and bow with the Navy sentiment panel, so pretty!
