Hi Stamping friends, this is the last Colour Creations Blog Hop for this year. Thank you for visiting our blog hops this year and for leaving your lovely comments. We will return on the 8th of Jan with Misty Moonlight, We are finishing the year with Melon Mambo. For tonight's card I have used the Pocket Thoughts stamp set. I stamped in Basic White and added a few highlights with my Melon Mambo Blends Marker that was blended with the Colour Lifter.
The cupcake image was mounted on the reverse side of a piece of Full of Life DSP. The greeting was stamped on the same DSP in Memento Black ink.
The final embellishment was some Jewel Rhinestones.
Just in case you thought I was over my Darling Dinos obsession I have one more card to share with you. Of course this card features the new Darling Dinos stamp set. I coloured this cute dino with Melon Mambo and Berry Burst Blends Markers.
The Melon Mambo circle behind the Dino was cut using the Everyday Details Dies. The background DSP was again from the Full of Life DSP Pack.
Here's my two cards together.
Now it's time for the next stop on our Blog Hop, which belongs to the lovely and talented Christine Blain. I'm looking forward to seeing her Melon Mambo creation.
If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the fabulous host of our Colour Creations Blog Hop and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Two great, fun, cards that showcase Melon Mambo beautifully, Rach. I especially love the cupcake card. Super-clever background (did you use a black marker to draw around the circles on the DSP?), and I really like that you stamped the sentiment on the same DSP as the backing for the cupcake. The dino card is very cute. You're getting great value out of that bundle already!
ReplyDeleteYes, I forgot I drew around the circles
DeleteTwo wonderful cards Rachel. Love them. Your colouring of the two feature elements of the cards is gorgeous. Both the cup cake and the cute dinosaur is amazing. xxx
ReplyDeleteLove both of these cards, Rachel. The Full of Life DSP is a geat addition and I came to ask about the circles, but see Chrisitne has commented that you used a marker around them; it looks fantastic. The cupcake looks delicious. The dino card is adorable with the 3 DSP panels creating a great layout!
