Tonight the Art with Heart team girls are sharing some wonderful ideas to inspire you with our Designer Series Papers. This month is the start of the new Stampin’ Up! year and we have a special promotion on our Designer Series Paper, buy 3 get 1 FREE for the month of October and there is no limit!
This card uses the Delightful Daisy paper. I cut 1.5cm strips of the different patterns of this paper pack and arranged them on Night of Navy cardstock in a herringbone pattern, before I attached them. Stampin' Up! makes this technique so easy by providing a pack of 12 coordinating patterns that are ready to use. The greeting is from the One Big Meaning stamp set.
The next card uses my current favourite Designer Series Paper. I usually find masculine cards a bit difficult to make but the Wood Textures DSP makes it easy. I stamped a sheet of DSP with the leaf image from Colorful Seasons stamp set in Versamark then embossed in Copper Embossing Powder. I cut the Happy Birthday Thinlit from the Copper Foil and attach it with tiny pieces of Dimensionals. Mounted on Very Vanilla, then on an Emerald Envy card base.
The paper used in the next card is unfortunately not included in the sale, but it's so beautiful you need some anyway.
The paper pack is called Year of Cheer Speciality DSP. I've used a piece of the starburst paper and applied Night of Navy ink with a foam roller across the top. The houses are diecut using the Hometown Greeting Edgelits and the Santa Sleigh and greeting are from the Hearts Come Home stamp set.
The Designer Series Paper special is only available until the end of October, contact me if you require anymore information.
