Colour Creations Blog Hop week 3 - Pretty In Pink Beauty

Hello stampers. I'm back this week as part of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we will be featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours, starting with the new 2024-2026 In Colours.

This week we are featuring Pretty In Pink. If you thought you recognised the name you would be correct. Pretty In Pink is a previously retired colour that is returning as an In Colour.

For today's card I have used the new Layered Beauty Bundle which includes a stamp set, die set and a set of masks.

The 5 masks are really easy to use as they are numbered and each have a matching notch in one corner to make lining up the images as easy as possible.

The colours I used are Pretty In Pink and Melon Mambo for the roses, Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight for the daisies and Old Olive for the leaves.

I used a strip of Pretty In Pink In Colour DSP behind the main image.
All of the products used to make this card are available through my online store.

Now it's time to see what my very talented stamping friend Theresa Gerrard has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Be sure to come back next week when the next colour we will be featuring is Shy Shamrock.

Thanks for visiting,

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 2 - Petunia Pop Country Flowers

Unfortunately I was a little off the ball to join week two of the 2024-2025 Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team, but I had my card almost finished so I wanted to share with you any way.

We are starting with the new In Colours and this week it’s Petunia Pop. Every year Stampin’ Up! release 5 new, in vogue colours to keep our colour range fresh.

As we had a stunning array of cards using Country Flowers last week with Peach Pie I thought I’d use my set with Petunia Pop.
I stamped the pot and flowers image in Memento Black and coloured with my Blends Markers in Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock. I use the Colour Lifter a lot with this image so that I could get a wide range of shades with the same colour, Petunia Pop.

I used one of the new Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut the pail piece. The background white piece is embossed with the Eyelet 3D Folder.

I added a mat layer of Berry Burst card stock under the embossed layer for a bit of contrast.

If you would like to see all of the links in the blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 1 - Peach Pie Daisies

 Happy New Catalogue Day!

Today's the day that the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Catalogue goes live to customers.

A new catalogue year means a beautiful new graphic for our blog hops too. Isn't our Cathy amazing! She's the host of our blog hops and provides our new graphics.

The first colour we are featuring is one of our new In Colours, Peach Pie. We are covering all of the new In Colours first before moving on to the remainder of the Stampin' Up! colours.

This month Stampin' Up! have an amazing joining offer. Join the Stampin' Up! team in May and you will receive the following In Colour Kit in addition to the usual joining kit. Contact me for more details.
I've combined a new colour with an existing stamp set and bundle, Cheerful Daisies.

I cut the Daisy Die from Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and coloured with ink and Water Painters. The ink colours are Peach Pie, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

The background of the card is Basic White embossed with the new Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I coloured the center of the embossed piece with a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink.

The Birthday Wishes greeting is from another new product, Simply Said stamp set. I cut the greeting using the Unbounded Love Dies. I coloured the center section of the greeting die with more Lost Lagoon ink and a Blending Brush.

If you don't already have a copy of our beautiful new catalogue and don't have a demonstrator, please contact me and I will get one to you.

Now it's time to see what my very clever stamping friend Kathryn Ruddick has to share with us. Make sure you visit all of the stops on our blog hop for lots of Peach Pie inspiration.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel
