Heart of Christmas week 11 Surfing Santa Fancy Fold

Hello stamping friends. Welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week until the end of November we will be here to share some Christmas inspiration with you.

For this week’s card I have returned to the Surfing Santa stamp set. This is a stamp only set from the catalogue which means there are no coordinating dies.

I stamped the main image on Basic White card stock and then coloured with Blends Markers. With a mask over the Santa image, I stamped the first wave in Coastal Cabana. I cut out the image with the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The  circle was mounted on a very simple fancy fold card.

I cut an A4 sheet in half lengthwise for the card base. I scored down the middle on the short side and the folded it in half. I trimmed 5cm off the front edge. The square on the front is 7.4cm and has been attached on the edge of the front as a diamond. The Garden Green mat is 7cm square.

I used one sheet from the Take a Bow DSP and another from the Reindeer Days DSP as background papers. The Santa image was attached to the Garden Green mat with Dimensionals. I stamped and cut a second wave image to attach in from of Santa.
The greeting is stamped in Real Red and cut with another Stylish Shapes Die.
All of the products are available through my Online Store.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 5 - Summer Splash Racing By

Hello stampers, it's time for week 5 of the Colour Creation Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order starting with the 2024-2026 In Colours. This week it's time to feature Summer Splash.

Today's card is a variation of a pull card that we saw demonstrated at the latest Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Event.
I used the Racing By stamp set for the racing car image.

The race car outline is stamped in Memento Black Ink and the solid image is Summer Splash and the star is Real Red.

There is a slit in the front of the card that allows the center tab to be pulled out, making the race car move.

The card base is Summer Splash and a center panel in Smoky Slate. The Smoky Slate piece has been embossed with the Metal Plate Embossing Folder.

I'm very pleased with how this card turned out, the little race car is so cute. I have a couple of other cards I have made with this set that I will share with you shortly.

Now it's time to see what me stamping friend Kathryn Ruddick has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Showcase week 6 Blushing Bride

Welcome to week of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week our team is featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours, in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Blushing Bride.

I have used the Hand Penned Petals Bundle and the Hand-Penned DSP to make a Double Z fold card.

The front panel on the card is the second largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, cut from Blushing Bride card stock.

I used three different sheets of DSP, all from the Hand-Penned Petals pack to decorate the three panels on the card.

The floral die cut was cut from Basic Black card stock. The greeting from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set was stamped in Memento Black ink.

The next hop for more Blushing Bride inspiration is the very talented Kristine D'Auria.

If you find a broken link or have come to this blog hop from a different entry point, you can view the full list of participants on Catherine Proctor’s blog.

Don't forget that this DSP and many more are on reduced with Stampin' Up!s DSP Sale, until the 2nd of August.
