The sale-a-bration stamp set I chose for today's Blog Hop is called Epic Celebrations.
And here are my creations.
These shoe images have been coloured with Blends pens in Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Smokey Slate.
The final card is a lot more colourful....
To create the background on this card I used Brusho Crystals, but as it was on cardstock, not watercolour paper the effect is a lot different. The Perisian Blue Crystals did not blend as well on the cardstock as they do on watercolour paper.
I then used a mask and the Silver Embossing paste to create the silvery diamonds on the background. The Guitar and the Headphones images were embossed in silver embossing powder and cut out. The final sparkly element was a small piece of washi tape from the Myths and Magic pack.

New Sale-a-bration items coming soon!
This card has been made using one of the soon to be released Sale-a-bration items called Springtime Foils Speciality DSP.
I sponged Perfect Plum and Bermuda Bay onto one of the flowers then fussy cut it.
The background is watercoloured with Pool Party and the greeting is embossed in Copper on Pool Party cardstock. There’s a small amount of Copper thread behind the greeting.
This DSP has a beautiful shine on it, this one is Rose Gold or Copper and the other sheets have Gold and Silver. I’m looking forward to having lots more creations to show you.

Blends meets Petal Palette DSP
This is the first time I’ve coloured the PetalPalette DSP with the Blends markers. I was a bit concerned that the design on the reverse of the paper would show through, but it was not a problem.
The colours used on the first card are Calypso Coral, Pirrouette Pink, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and the background was coloured with Light Pool Party.

These cards make together quickly and only needed a ribbon and a greeting to finish them off.
Kids are back to school now so hopefully I find lots more time for card making.
