Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 21 - Highland Heather

It's time to colour your world purple with the Art With Heart Team's Colour Creation Showcase, this week featuring the lovely Highland Heather.

For my card today I have used the Hooray To You stamp set. This stamp set is available on it's own or in a Project Collection bundle, which is pictured below. The links at the end of this post will take you directly to my online store.

I inked the large balloon image in Highland Heather. I used a cotton bud to remove the ink from the HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I used a Melon Mambo Stampin Write Marker to colour the greeting. I then used a Gorgeous Grape Stampin Write Marker to highlight some of the tiny flowers on the balloon.

I then huffed on the stamp to re moisten to stamp before stamping it onto Whisper White Card stock.

I cut a frame from Melon Mambo card stock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The only embellishments I added were some small Rhinestone Jewels to the centers of some of the flowers around the greeting and some Wink of Stella to the greeting itself. It's very hard to photograph, but it gives the greeting a lovely shine and shimmer.

I'm pleased with how this bright, simple card turned out. All of the products I used to make this card are listed below.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas - October

Hello stampers, less than 10 weeks until Christmas and the Art With Heart Team are back with our October Christmas blog hop. A full list of tonight's participants is on Judy's blog, the link is at the end of this post.

Tonight my project uses the Have A Hoot bundle.

I used the window die to cut windows in a piece of In Good Taste Specialty DSP.

I stamped all the images in Memento Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and coloured them with the Blends Markers listed below. All of the dies to cut them out are included in the bundle. I decided to cut off one of the little owls so that the card reflects our family, except that my youngest owl is now my biggest owl!

The two greetings are stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white emboss powder. The small leaf sprig was cut from Shaded Spruce card stock and embellished with a couple of Red Rhinestone Jewels.

I cut a mat from Just Jade card stock and stamped the background images in Memento Ink. I sponged a small amount of Crumb Cake ink on the background to blend in the holes in the DSP.

The owl images were attached to the card front with Dimensionals. So cute, I'm very pleased with how this card turned out. All of the supplies I have used to make this card are listed below and can be purchased from my online store.

I love seeing what the other clever girls in the Art with Heart team have produced for our blog hops. I feel very lucky to have found myself part of this lovely, friendly team. It certainly adds an extra dimension to my love of stamping and Stampin' Up! If you are interested in joining Stampin' Up! any of the wonderful ladies in this team can help answer your questions.

Thank for visiting,
Happy stamping,

Tag Buffet Baubles

I recently purchased this set called Tag Buffet because I loved the large, swirly greetings. I hadn't noticed it before as it is in the kit section of the August to Dec Catalogue.

The images are stamped in Memento ink and coloured with the Blends Markers listed below. Two of the baubles I fussy cut then attached with Dimensionals.

The greeting is Silver Embossed on Vellum card stock.
