On the Fourth Day of Lockdown..

Hi all, on the fourth day of lock down I have a yummy Christmas card to share with you. Who doesn't love gingerbread cookies?

I have used the new Gingerbread and Peppermint 6 x 6 DSP from the August-Dec Mini Catalogue that starts on the 3rd of August.

I fussy cut a couple of the cookies from the DSP, and applied Dimensionals to the back. A piece of White Bakers Twine was attached to each cookie as a hanger and a bow to the front of each.
The card front is a piece of Kraft paper, also in the August to Dec Mini Catalogue.

The DSP across the top of the card is from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP which is returning from last years Christmas products. It has been cut using one of the Basic Borders Dies.

The Merry Christmas greeting is from the Snowman Season stamp set in the Annual Catalogue.

Rachel

Heart of Christmas week 3

Hi there, week three of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, and I have had a lovely time playing with my pre order from the August to December Mini Catalogue.

Every Monday evening we will be bringing you Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team. There is a link to the next hop at the end of this post and if you get lost or find a broken link, there is a complete list of tonight's participants on Sharon's blog, also at the end of this post.

For tonight's card I have used the Merriest Moments Bundle. I loved this set as soon as I saw it. The stamp set and die also come with a coordinating embossing folder.

For this card I cut the detailed die from Basic White card stock and then put it in the embossing folder to add the texture. There is another die in this set which can be placed inside the folder so that you can cut and emboss at the same time. Very cool! I will share a card using this technique tomorrow.

Once the die has been embossed I used Sponge Daubers and Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce ink to colour the foliage.
The greeting panel dies is included in the die set. It was cut from Basic White card stock and the greeting was stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I sponged around the outside of the greeting panel with Early Espresso ink on a Sponge Dauber.

The card front is a piece of wood grain DSP from the In Good Taste DSP pack. The poinsettia was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. The final elements are a bow in the new Cherry Cobbler Gold Ribbon and some Metallic Gold Pearls.

The next hop in our blog hop is the very talented Andrea Sargent.

In case of a broken link head to Sharon's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting, I'll be back later with my Forth Day of Lockdown post.

On the Second Day of Lockdown......

On the second day of Lock Down 5 I pulled out my favourite Designer Series Paper packs to make a card to remind you of the amazing DSP Sale that is on until the 2nd of August.

I used the In Good Taste and Beauty of the Earth DSP packs. The lower edge of the wood grain piece was cut with one of the Basic Borders Dies.

The BIRTHDAY greeting from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink. The happy was heat embossed in White Emboss Powder then coloured with the Light Old Olive Blends Marker.

The final element is some Linen Thread wrapped around the wood grain piece before it was attached to the card.

On the first day of lockdown.......

On the first day of Lockdown 5 ........I decided I would dig into my pre order goodies from the Aug to Dec Mini catalogue and organise my online Christmas Class.

This card is not going to be one of the cards for the online class but it was made as I was playing.

The stamp set of called Peaceful Deer and is available in a bundle with a Deer Builder Punch. The panel behind the deer is cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

The DSP behind the deer image is from the Heartwarming Hugs pack that is returning from last year.

I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the scalloped rectangle. The frame around the scalloped rectangle was cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with day 2.

Happy stamping,
Rachel
