Colour Creation Blog Hop week 24 - Fresh Freesia Paper Florist Dies

Hello stamping friends. It is time for the Colour Creations Blog Hop, but again I was not organised enough to join this time but I wanted to share my cards with you.

I have only recently purchased the Paper Florist Dies and I am having a lovely time playing with them.

The first card I made I decided was not Fresh Freesia enough so I had a second attempt.

I cut the main flowers from Fresh Freesia card stock and then I shaped them with the end of an old style Water Painter, which is rounded, to give them some dimension.

The other flowers were cut from Petal Pink, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam and Lost Lagoon card stock.

To add some texture to the background I used one of the Artistic Mix Decorative masks and Shimmery White Embossing Paste. I love the bit of sparkle that this paste adds.

I used Pebbled Path card stock as the card base to contrast the soft, subtle colours.

Cathy is the wonderful host of our hop and has the full list of tonight's participants. Make sure you pop over and check out the beautiful creations on the other blogs.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 10 - Joy of Christmas Noel

Hello and welcome to week 10 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.

This week I have used the Joy of Christmas bundle to make two cards.
I started by cutting the NOEL letters from the new Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper. I made sure there was enough clearance around the letters so that I could used the square die with cut off corners to cut it out again.

I adhered this piece to a piece of Joy of Christmas DSP that was cut just larger than the Gold Glimmer Paper. The fact that the Glimmer Paper is adhesive backed makes it wonderfully easy to work with. I love it!

The Shaded Spruce card was cut with one of the dies from the Christmas Classics Bundle. This was adhered to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock that was embossed with the  Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.

To make use of the NOEL letters I cut originally I cased a beautiful  from Andrea Sargent. See the original HERE.

I stamped the foliage in Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder on the left side of a Deckled Rectangle. I stamped it a second time so that I could cut out individual leaves and add them on Dimensionals.

All of the products used to make these cards are available in my online store. Please contact me with any questions.

Now it's time to see what my very talented team member Andrea Sargent has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Sharon's blog as she is the amazing host of our Christmas Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 23 - Flirty Flamingo

Hello stampers, welcome to week 23 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up colours and this week time's time for Flirty Flamingo. Flirty Flamingo is a vibrant medium pink from our Brights colour family.
This week I have used Flirty Flamingo with one of our discontinued DSP packs that is still available in our Clearance Rack. Make sure you check out the Clearance Rack regularly, it's a great place to pick up some bargains.

This paper is called Rain or Shine and the designs on one side have a shiny, wet look finish. I fussy cut the rabbit from one piece and mounted it with Dimensionals on another circle.

All of the circles were cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The background paper is yet another design from the same DSP pack.

The greeting is from the Zany Zoo stamp set.
All of the products used to make this card are available through my Stampin' Up! Online Store. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Now it's time for the next hop in our blog hop. Please click on her name of the graphic below to see what the delightful Di Furniss has to share with us.
If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Be sure to return next week when we will have lots of Fresh Freesia inspiration to share with you.
