Another Sale-a-bration Creation

Hello stamping friends, I have another Sale-a-bration creation to share with you today.

This card uses the Flight and Airy DSP from the Sale-a-bration rewards. Sale-a-bration finishes at the end of Feb, make sure you get your orders in by then to receive FREE rewards. For a complete list of available rewards click on the image below.

I fussy cut one of the bird images from the DSP. The colours used were Lost Lagoon, Boho Blue and Fresh Freesia. The DSP for the center panel is from the Masterfully Made DSP pack from the annual catalogue.

I used the Basic Borders Dies for the zig zag edge strips. The greeting is from an old stamp set called So Sentimental.

Don't forget to place your orders before the end of Feb to be eligible for Sale-a-bration rewards.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

I had a couple of extra special cards to make for family members recently.
For the first card I cased a card I found by Laura Seki. I used the Forever Love DSP from the Jan to April Mini Catalogue.

The main colours are Pretty Peacock and Very Vanilla. The greeting is from the Best Family Ever and has been embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. The 75 was cut using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies and the Three Colour Glimmer Paper.

For the second card I coloured a piece of Most Adored DSP with Blends Markers in Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Old Olive. The Most Adored DSP is one of free Sale-a-bration rewards that is only available until the end of Feb.

The Happy Birthday was cut with the Wanted to Say Dies and the Adhesive Backed Gold and Silver Specialty Paper.

For the numerals I used the Alphabet A La Mode Dies again and more Adhesive Backed Gold Paper.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 40 - Pool Party Meadows

Hello stamping friends, the Art With Heart Team are back with week 40 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. As I write this post we are without power at home so I will be a little brief so that I can conserve the battery on my device.

This week our projects feature Pool Party, a lovely soft blue/ green from the Subtles Colour Family.

I am using a colour combination that was inspired by a piece of clothing I saw last week. I have paired Pool Party with Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black.

I used a die from the Meadow Dies pack to cut a silhouette from Basic Black card stock. The Lemon Lome Twist piece was embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders from our Online Exclusives.

The Pool Party patterned paper is from the Sunny Days DSP Pack and is available for free as a Sale-a-bration reward.
Don't forget to check out all of the amazing Sale=a=bration rewards available with any purchase of $90 or more.

Now it’s time to see what amazing creation Cathy Proctor has to share with us.
As Cathy is also the wonderful host of our Colour Creations Blog Hop, please also head to her blog if you have any issues with the links in our hop.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 39 - Petal Pink SAB DSP

Hello stamping friends, welcome to week 39 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. This week our projects feature Petal Pink, which is a lovely peachy pink in our Subtles Colour Family. I got on a bit of a run this week so I have three cards to share with you.
This is the first card I made using Petal Pink and I loved this colour combination so much that I used it for the following two cards as well.

I started with a piece of Most Adored DSP, which is one of the current Sale-a-bration Free Rewards.

The gold hearts are pre printed on the white paper. I used a Blending Brush to add Petal Pink ink across the top of the card piece. Flirty Flamingo was next, followed by Sweet Sorbet.

The CELEBRTAE greeting was cut and embossed with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I applied Versamark Ink with the Stampin' Brayer and then applied gold embossing powder. Flowers from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set were also heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. I coloured the flowers Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and Old Olive Blends Markers. The Gold Foil and Petal Pink foliage was cut with the Timeless Arrangements Dies.

For the second card I used the Sunny Days DSP, another of the DSP from the Sale-a-bration Rewards.

I cut three strips on the DSP for the background of the card. The white scalloped strip was cut with the Zany Zoo dies.

The greeting is from the Layering Leaves stamp set. Behind the greeting I added a circle of Petal Pink Glimmer paper cut with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. The flowers were cut using the Paper Florist Dies and card stock in Basic White, Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and Crushed Curry.

For the third card I went back to the Most Adored  DSP. Again the tiny flowers were pre printed on the card stock. I coloured the flowers with Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and Old Olive Blends Markers.

The greeting is from the Season of Chic stamp set and was embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. The greeting shapes were cut using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. I added some tiny Brushed Brass Butterflies and a piece of ribbon that was coloured with a Sweet Sorbet Blends Marker.
