Heart of Christmas week 8 - Decorative Trees

Welcome to week 8 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop.Every week the Art With Heart Team are inspiring you with fabulous handmade Christmas cards using Stampin' Up! products.

This week I have a fairly non-traditional Christmas card to share with you.
I have used the Decorative Trees Bundle and paired it with the Country Woods DSP.

The snowflake Christmas Tree was cut from white Glimmer paper from the Berry Burst, Old Olive and White Glimmer paper which is one of our Online Exclusives. The base colour is Boho Blue. I'm going to miss this colour when it finishes with this catalogue.

I used the tag die from the Merriest Trees dies and embossed it with on of the 3D Basics Dies, also in our Online store.

The greeting was heat embossed in white on three different card stock colours, Smoky Slate, Petal Pink and Boho Blue. I split all of the lines of the greeting, fussy cut the MERRY and then combined the different colours.

The mat behind the Country Woods DSP is Misty Moonlight and the card base is Smoky Slate.

Now it's time to see what the amazing Sharon Davern has to share us.

Sharon is also the fabulous host of our Christmas Blog Hop and has a complete list of tonight's participants if you are having any issues with the links.

Thanks for hopping by, see you on Wednesday for our Colour Creations Blog Hop.

  2. I really love the colours of the Country Woods DSP that you have chosen Rachel and then brought forward to your tree and sentiment. Love the white glimmer on the tree to and snowflakes die, the fussy cutting of the "Merry" is perfect and the embossing on the tag behind the tree lifts the card that extra step! Lovely card! Happy Birthday, hope you have had a fantastic day xx
