Heart of Christmas week 15 - Merriest Trees Hexagons

Hello stamping friends, welcome to week 15 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. We only have a couple of Monday's left of our Christmas Blog Hop before we finish for this year. Make sure you check out all of our posts for your Christmas inspiration.

This week I have a couple of pop up cards to share with you. I used the Merriest Trees Bundle to decorate these hexagon pop up cards. I used my electric cutter to cut the bases but there are numerous tutorials available on the web if you search Hexagon Pop Up Boxes.

For both cards I used the following colours for the trees.
Large tree: Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow,
Middle tree: Garden Green and Shaded Spruce,
Smallest tree: Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green.

For this card the decorations are cut from Gold Adhesive Backed Specialty Paper and Red Foil paper.

For the second card all of the decorations are cut from Gold Adhesive Backed Paper. These cards still fold flat to fit into an envelope 14cm x 14cm.

Now it's time to hop over and check out the beautiful project that my stamping friend Christine Blain has to share with us.

If you encounter any problems with the links in our hop please head to Sharon's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Christmas hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 9 Bright Gifts of Christmas

Hello stamping friends, welcome to week 9 of the Heart of Christmas Blog hop with the  Art With Heart Team. Every Monday until the end of November we will be sharing our Christmas projects with you.
This week I am sharing a card I made using the Gifts of Giving stamp set.

The Santa image was coloured with Blends Markers. The colours are listed below.

The main image and the mat were both out with Deckled Rectangle Dies. The Background DSP is from the Merry Bold & Bright pack.

The final touch on my cards was a trio of Rhinestone Jewels coloured with my Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel and Real Red Blends Markers.

Now it's time to hop over and see what my lovely stamping friend Andrea Sargent has to share with us.
If you encounter any problems with the links in our hop please head to Sharon's blog as she is the wonderfully amazing host of our Christmas hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Be sure to check back on Wednesday night when we will be having our Colour Creations Blog Hop.

Happy stamping,

Heart of Christmas week 7 - Rocking Christmas

Hello friends, it's time for more Christmas inspiration with the Art With Heart Team. Our Heart of Christmas Blog Hop is happening every Monday evening until early December so that we can share an abundance of Christmas projects with you.

For my project this week I have used the Rocking Horse Stamp Set. This Stamp set is also available in a bundle with co ordinating dies but I did not use the ides for this card.

The main image was stamped in Memento Black Ink so that I could colour with my Blends Markers. The colours I used are shown in the photo below.

I cut the main image and a mat in Mossy Meadow card stock using the Deckled Rectangle dies.
The background paper is from the Traditions of St Nick DSP, which is available as a Special Release through the Online Exclusive products.

Also from the Special Release DSP is the Gold Adhesive Backed Glimmer paper, which comes in a pack with Silver Glimmer paper.

The greeting is also from the Rocking Christmas set and was embossed in White Embossing powder. The two little sprigs were cut using a die from the Wished All Around Die set. To add the berries to the sprigs I used my Pearlized Enamel Effects for the first time. The set contains three colours red, white and gray(which looks like silver). They come as a liquid that you CAREFULLY squeeze on and then allow to dry.

I added a small piece of the Adhesive Backed Gold Glimmer paper behind the greeting.

All of these products are available trough my online store.

For more Christmas inspiration it's time for the next hop on our blog hop, the amazingly talented Judy May.

If you have any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Sharon's blog as she is the fabulous host of our Christmas hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
