Heart of Christmas - week 2 Jolly Holly

It's time for week 2 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.
For this week's card I have used the Jolly Holly Bundle. I used the Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Die to emboss two pieces of Basic White Card stock.

I coloured the holly leaves with a Water Painter and Granny Apple Green ink. The holly berries were coloured with Real Red ink. I mounted these pieces to a piece of Garden Green card stock and then onto a Granny Apple Green card base. I made this card extra long by folding a 21cm x 21cm piece of Granny Apple Green in half.

The greeting was stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White and cut out with stitched rectangle dies. I added a bow in a retired Real Red ribbon and a few Cherry Cobbler Adhesive-backed Berries.

Next blog in our hop belongs to Sharon Davern.

Cherry Cobbler Christmas

Hi stamping friends, here is tonight's card for the Art With Heart Instagram Hop. I have used the Jolly Holly Bundle with the Stamp Set and Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies. This clever Embossing Folder embosses and cuts at the same time( when the dies are inside the folder).

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock with the hybrid folder and applied Dimensionals to the back of all of the leaves. So that the leaves really popped I applied Tombow Glue behind the berries and the flat/background areas of the embossed piece.

The greeting was stamped on Gray Granite card stock and heat embossed in Gold. I used the Unbounded Dies to cut the greeting in three layers, Cherry Cobbler and Gold Foil.

The cute berries are from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries. For a final bit of gold shine I added a piece of Season of Elegance DSP behind the embossed piece. If you would like to follow the entire Insta Hop please head to my Instagram page at @handstamped_by_rachel.

Next Wed I will away from internet connection in my caravan but I hope to have my Coastal Cabana project to share with you anyway.

Thanks,
