Heart of Christmas - Week 8

I'm back! Unfortunately I had to miss last week's hop due to computer and School Holiday issues, but I ready to go this week.
For this week's cards I have used the Snowman Season Bundle, which includes the Snowman punch and stamp set pictured below.

For the first card I stamped the snowman on Whisper White card stock and coloured him using Blends Markers in Real Red and Shaded Spruce. Not that there's much colouring needed on a snowman! I did shade him slightly with a Smoky Slate Blends Marker. The image was mounted on Shaded Spruce card stock and then on a Real Red card base. A stripe of Wrapped in Plaid as used behind the image.

The next card used the Snowman Punch. I stamped the snowman parts in Memento ink on Whisper White card stock and punched them out. I will have a video for you tomorrow on how I positioned the Snowman parts to simplify this process. I coloured a couple of tiny parts on the Snowman with the Blends Markers and then shaded the Snowman with Smoky Slate Blends.

The snowflakes in the background were stamped in Pool Party ink. The 3D snowflakes and the ground below the snowman are done using the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. It's amazing how you apply a very watery solution that when heat with a heat gun expands and puffs up give an extra dimension to your cards.
