Christmas in July Countdown - 5

I'm going to count down the last 5 days of July with some Christmas inspiration.

Today's card uses the Dove of  Hope stamp set, but there is not a dove in sight. This set is coming soon in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue.

I stamped the branch, bauble and greeting stamp in Versamark and embossed in Silver Embossing Powder.

This piece was cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  I used a sponge to colour the background with Balmy Blue ink.

The embossed were coloured with a Water Painter and ink pads in Cherry Cobbler, Balmy Blue, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

The tabs on the top left corner are strips cut from Red Foil paper.
The card base is Thick Whisper White Paper.

Don't forget the end of July also sees the end of July Bonus Days!

Thanks for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas - Week 9

Welcome to Week 9 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. The team has some amazing Christmas projects to share with you tonight.
This card was inspired by Karen Hadler, who used the same technique to make a wedding card in different colours. I love the card she made and the technique she used so I turned it into a beautifully sparkly Christmas card.

The background of the card was sponged using Real Red and Shaded Spruce inks.

Shimmery White embossing paste which has been coloured using the Golden Glitz Delicata ink refill was then applied over the top of the background with one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks that are available in the Holiday Catalogue.

The 'Merry' from the Merry Christmas Dies was cut from a Gold Foil sheet. The Christmas was stamped in Golden Glitz Delecata ink on Shaded Spruce card stock. The small bauble from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set was also stamped in Golden Glitz Delicata ink.
The ribbon on top of the bauble was supposed to be the Gold Shimmery Ribbon from the Holiday catalogue but it is still making it's way to me so I had to improvise with a discontinued ribbon.

Here's a couple of close ups of the extra sparkly Golden Shimmery embossing paste and the beautiful Golden Glitz Delicata ink.
A huge thank you to Karen for her inspiration. I love this card so much it's going to be one of the projects at Saturday's class.

For more Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team head to Claire's blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

If you have any questions about tonight's card please contact me and I will be happy to help.

Thank you for visiting and happy stamping,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas - Week 15

This is our final week of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hops! Christmas must be getting close!

This week's card uses the Dashing Deer bundle from the Holiday Catalogue.

I die cut the deer from a piece of scrap card stock and used this as a mask. With a Sponge Dauber, on Whisper White card stock, I gently applied Cherry Cobbler ink in a circular motion. The card base and the swirls are cut from the beautiful new Shaded Spruce card stock. The greeting is from the Dashing Deer stamp set. Silver and white twine is wrapped around the card base and one red Rhinestone finishes the card.

Inside the card is a deer image and greeting, stamped in Cherry Cobbler and also from the Dashing Deer stamp set.

For a final round of Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team head to Claire Daly's blog for a full list of today's participants.

Thank you for stopping by,
Happy stampin,
Rachel
