Sunday Stargazing

I have two super quick cards to share with you today. I haven't purchased the Reach for the Stars Bundle (yet) but I do have some of the Stargazing DSP that co ordinates with this bundle.

I used both of the planet sheets to make these cards.

The greetings are cut using the Wanted to Say and some of the fabulous Speciality Papers in this year's catalogue.

The first card uses the In Colour Textured Speciality Paper for the top layer and the purplish background is one of the Holographic Trio Specialty Papers.

I also cut some of the stars from the Wanted to Say Dies from another of the Holographic Papers.

The second card used one of the Holographic Papers for the top layer and the Berry Burst sheet from the Soft Shimmer Specialty Papers.

I added a piece of  Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon behind the greeting that I frayed at each end.

I hope my super easy cards have brightened your Sunday afternoon.

All products used to make these cards are listed below, please contact me with any questions.

Happy stamping,

Rachel

colour Creations Blog Hop week 43 - Rich Razzleberry Pretty Prints

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 43 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Each week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Rich Razzleberry, a lovely, dark purple/red colour.

I dug into my comprehensive Designer Series Paper(DSP) supplies and made these two very quick and simple but effective cards. The DSP packs I used were Pretty Prints and Sun Prints.

I used one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut all of the DSP pieces. These pieces were mounted on Basic White card stock and Rich Razzleberry card base.

The white leaf sprig was cut with a dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies. The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and was embossed in White Emboss Powder on Rich Razzleberry card stock.

Now it's time to see what my fellow team member and talented stamper Theresa Gerrard has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,

Rachel
