Happy New Year!!

I'm back from my wonderful New Years Eve cruise and ready to get stamping, just in time to dive into the Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogue.

Sale-a-bration is Stampin' Up!'s main sale of the year. There are amazing offers for all levels of stampers.

Firstly, now is the time to stock up on all your stamping supplies. For every $90 you spend you receive a free gift from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. Click on the image to see what fabulous gifts are available.

The next offer is for those who would like to host a group of friends in their home and receive added hostess benifits.

And finally, if your wish list is out of control, especially with the new Occasions Catalogue available, now is the time to join my team and become a demonstrator. For a joining fee of only $169 you can choose $315 worth of products!!!! Alternatively for $210 you receive $315 worth of products PLUS the Stampin' Up! Craft and Carry Tote. This offer is also available to those who have joined previously and dropped and would like to rejoin, we'd love to have you back.

All of these specials are available with products from either of our catalogues, including the new Occasions Catalogue.

The cover of the catalogue says it all, it's full of amazing products, something for everyone.
Late last year I participate in a card swap with my fellow Art With Heart team members and here are a couple of the cards I received.
The first uses the Happiness Blooms suite and was completed by the wonderful Judy May and the second card features the Classic Garage suite and was completed by our amazing team leader Claire Daly. I will show you the remainder in days to come.

I know there is a lot of information to take in here so please contact me with any questions.
If you would like to experience these products first hand I have a Catalogue Launch scheduled for the 2nd of Feb.
Happy Stampin,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Lovely Lipstick

Today the Art With Heart Team are featuring Lovely Lipstick, one of the In Colours for 2018-2020.

For today's card I used the brand new Butterfly Beauty Thinlit dies, available in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue.
I paired them with my favourite DSP, Wooden Textures.

The butterflies were cut from White Glimmer paper and Lovely Lipstick card stock, layered on top of each other.

The final touches are a bow from the new Lovely Lipstick Stitched Ribbon and a few Rhinestones for an extra sparkle.

Art With Heart Blog Hop November - Sketch Theme

This week the Art With Heart Team have a Sketch inspired Blog Hop to share with you.

Here's the sketch we're using which was supplied by the very clever Ros Davidson, thanks Ros.
For those who haven't seen or used a sketch before, the idea is to use this sketch as a basis for your inspiration. You can interpret it any way you choose.
We hope you like how we have each put our own spin on the sketch and that it inspires you to get creative and make some fabulous cards. If you are inspired by the sketch, please share with us!

I chose to use this sketch very literally!
But look! The set I've used is NEW!! Geared Up Garage! It will be available in the Occasions Catalogue, live to customers on the 3rd of January.

The car stamped on the Basic Gray background in Smoky Slate is suggested, by my son. to be a Mustang. There are numerous car images in this set including a tool box, oil can, grease stain and Father's Day greetings. Yay! Love this set for the men!
Oh, the paper too is new! The Classic Garage DSP 6 x 6 pack coordinates perfectly with the Geared Up Garage stamp set.
But wait, there's also a thinlit set to cut out all the images, amazing!

I hope you've enjoyed my take on this sketch and a peek and some new products.
The next stamper to hop over to for more amazing inspiration is Rebecca Jacovou, who is the first stamper in our Blog Hop.

Thank you for visiting, don't forget to share your projects with us,

Happy stampin',

Rachel

Heart of Christmas - Week 15

This is our final week of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hops! Christmas must be getting close!

This week's card uses the Dashing Deer bundle from the Holiday Catalogue.

I die cut the deer from a piece of scrap card stock and used this as a mask. With a Sponge Dauber, on Whisper White card stock, I gently applied Cherry Cobbler ink in a circular motion. The card base and the swirls are cut from the beautiful new Shaded Spruce card stock. The greeting is from the Dashing Deer stamp set. Silver and white twine is wrapped around the card base and one red Rhinestone finishes the card.

Inside the card is a deer image and greeting, stamped in Cherry Cobbler and also from the Dashing Deer stamp set.

For a final round of Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team head to Claire Daly's blog for a full list of today's participants.

Thank you for stopping by,

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Lemon Lime Twist

Tonight's Colour Creation colour is Lemon Lime Twist. This is a lovely bright clear lemon, lime colour but unfortunately is is a 2017-2019 In colour, which means it will be leaving our colour collection at the end of May next year. :(
I will definitely be making the most of it until then.

The card I have to share with you features some  new products from the Occasions Catalogue, coming in Jan 2019!

Lots of butterfly stamps, punches, paper and thinlits. In this card I've used the Butterfly Duet punch, the Beauty Abounds stamp set and shhhh, some DSP that will be in the Sale-a-bration, also coming on January. I love the way all these components combine so easily.

This card uses the Butterfly Gala bundle, which includes the Butterfly punch and also the same DSP that is available only during the Sale-a-bration in January.

I hoped you enjoyed my Lemon Lime Twist projects, for more inspiration head to Cathy's Blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

Thank you for stopping by,
Happy stampin',

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Highland Heather

This week’s Colour Creation colour is Highland Heather. Yay for a beautiful bold purple!

I made this first card with my Stamparatus. I was having a bit of an experiment and play with different techniques with this new tool when I came up with this Happy Birthday image from the All For One stamp set.
The colours I used are Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo and of course, Highland Heather.

For the background I used the Buffallo Check on Whisper White card stock. Again I used the Stamapratus which is very handy when the image needs to be inked and stamped again if it’s not quite perfect the first time. The only embelishment needed is a bow from Basic Black Satin Ribbon.
The second card I made using Highland Heather uses the Puzzle Pieces Bundle from Stampin’ Up!
The puzzle die was embossed onto Whisper White card stock using the Bigshot Embossing Mats. The heart image was stamped on Shimmery White card stock and then cut out with the coordinating die.
The greeting is mounted on a doliy, white side up, and a couple of leaf pieces cut with the leaf punch from Mint Macron card stock. The final embellishment is a small piece of Whhite Polka Dot Tulle coloured with the Highland Heather Blends. This is a great way to get more ribbons and embelishments in a wider range of colours.

I hooe you enjoyed my projects today.
For more Highland Heather inspiration head to Cathy’s blog for a full list of today’s participants.
Happy stampin,
Rachel
