Art With Heart Blog Hop - Simple Stamping

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring Simple Stamping, which means our projects feature only paper, stamps and ink. It’s a great way to create a quick and easy card for new stampers or for when you need a card at short notice. These projects highlight how Stampin’ Up! ink, paper and card stock coordinates perfectly.

If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.
For my Simple Stamping card I chose to use the Royal Peacock stamp set. I first stamped the peacock in Pretty Peacock ink on Shimmery White card stock and then stamped the highlight stamp in Blueberry Bushel.

The greeting is stamped in Blueberry Bushel. The Shimmery White card stock was then attached to a Blueberry Bushel card base and the card was completed.

It's not often there is only 5 items in the supply list but that's the idea of a Simple Stamping card. #simplestamping

For more amazingly simple cards check out what the other Art With Heart Team members have done, starting with the very talented Sharon Davern.

Rococo Rose Creatons

Here are a couple of Rococo Rose creations I have recently shared on my Facebook page, also called Handstampedbyrachel. The first card features the Birthday Goodness stamp set.

I have heat embossed the image in White Embossing Powder and coloured it with the Chalk Marker. The greeting is heat embossed with the Shimmer Black Emboss Powder.

The second card uses the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and the Pressed Petals Designer Series paper.

I have added the Gathered Gold and Rococo Rose ribbon along the bottom of the floral image with some added folds. There is a small amount of the Rose Metallic Thread behind the greeting.

I love this new colour but it’s time to have a play with some other colours. Briefly, anyway. I’ll be back soon with more colourful creations,
Happy stampin,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop - Purple Posy

Tonight is the final Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop and we are featuring our last colour Purple Posy. This is a lovely soft lilac colour and co ordinates perfectly with the other purples in the range.

For this card I have used the new hostess set New Wonders. I stamped the image on Whisper White with Memento Black and coloured with Blends Markers. I stamped and coloured a couple of extra leaf image sections so that I could add more greenery to the card.

I fussy cut the images and then adhered them to Purple Posy card stock which was attached to a Thick Whisper White card base.

The greeting was stamped in Highland Heather and then punched out with the Timeless Label Punch.
On the background I stamped the star image in Purple Posy for a subtle effect and then highlighted the stars with some sequins.
I love this sweet set and I know my hostesses will too.

For more Purple Posy inspiration head to Catherine's Blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

Art With Heart Blog Hop - 2019-2021 In Colours

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring ll 10 current In Colours. Check out the new 2019 - 2021 in colors and lets not forget the current 2018 - 2020 in colors.

If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

For my cards today I chose to use the new Dino Days Bundle, which includes the Dino Days photopolymer stamp set and the Dino Dies.

I also used the coordinating Dinoroar DSP which features many of the In Colours.

My first card has the tall dinosaur, I think it looks like a Diplodocus, stamped in Rococo Rose, with Pretty Peacock and Lovely Lipstick spots. The greeting is stamped in Lovely Lipstick and there are two strips of Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon in the background. I  love this new ribbon!

The next card features a baby T-Rex stamped in Terracotta Tile, hatching out of an egg. This would make a perfect baby card for either a new born boy or girl. The Dinoroar DSP in the background is well matched to this theme. I sponged the egg slightly with Old Olive to copy the DSP.

The final card I have for you has the Pterodactyl stamped in Pretty Peacock, as is the greeting. The Stegosaurus is stamped in Mango Melody with Pretty Peacock spots and spikes. The palm tree is also part of this awesome set. The card base is Pool Party. This set is so easy to use being photopolymer and also as it has coordinating dies.

Next stop on the Blog Hop is the amazingly talented Catherine Proctor.
