3D Icecream Sundae Tutorial

I made this card ages ago when I first received the Cool Treats stamp set and Frozen Treats Framelits.
I have a short tutorial on how it was made.

I cut the Sundae dish shape from the framelits from vellum.
On the Stampin' Up! Piece Mat, I used the stylus from the Scoring Tool to draw the lines and dots on the dish.

To shape the dish, with the dish still on the Stampin Pierce mat I used the end of an Aquapainter, and small firm circles.

I attach the dish to the card, apply glue from the Fine Tip Glue To the edges of the dish.

Then hold the dish in the correct shape on the cardstock for numerous seconds to let the glue set.

I used the same technique on the Icecream scoops to also give them a 3D effect.
I attached the Icecream scoops with a couple of layers of Dimensionals under the scoops.

Contact me for further details.

Happy Stampin,
Rachel

Art With Heart Easter Blog Hop, Hop, Hop

Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team. We thought it would be fun to share some Easter projects, seeing as Easter is only about 3 weeks away!

Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links. Now let’s get started!

The cards I have for you today were made using the Basket Bunch stamp set and the Basket Builder Framelit Dies. I love these cute Easter images, and you can save 10% if you buy the stamp set and framelits in a bundle.

On this card I put the bunny in the basket with a couple of the die cut Easter eggs. I made the grass die cut behind the bunny a little wider by cutting it in the middle and putting the basket over the gap.
The greeting used here is from the Crazy About You stamp set.

This card is about as easy as it gets, but its my favourite for today. I stamped and coloured three bows from the Basket Bunch set, two in Flirty Flamingo and one in Watermelon Wonder(I'm going to miss this colour when it finishes end of May!), then hand cut them as I didn't want a border around them.
The eggs are die cut using Basket Builder Framelits, from Affectionately Yours DSP. The greeting is from Crazy About You stamp set.

The next card is not an Easter card, although it could be with a different greeting. I wanted to demonstrate that the Basket Bunch set is not only for Easter. I have stamped the daffodil flowers on Delightful Daffodil (appropriate, hey!), and coloured a little with a blender pen in Calypso Coral and the leaves and grass on Cucumber Crush (another retiring colour). The remaining flowers are coloured with a blender pen using Calypso Coral and Pink Pirouette. Again, the greeting is from the Crazy About You stamp set.

Saleabration is a great time to join or place a $90 order to get extra free items – ask me how!
By purchasing the Basket Bunch Bundle and a set of blender pens you qualify for a FREE Saleabration gift! Here are a few of the options, contact me for more information.
Here is the third and final release of Saleabration rewards.

The next hop one our blog hop is back to the amazing Judy May and her beautiful projects.
