Art With Heart Colour Creations week 29 - Mossy Meadow

Welcome to week 29 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. Mossy Meadow is our feature colour today, which is one of our Neutral colours. When Mossy Meadow was first allocated to the Neutrals colour family I was a bit surprised, but it is a base colour that coordinates with heaps of our other colours.

I chose one of my go to colour combinations for Christmas for today's cards. I love the elegant look of  Mossy Meadow with Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.

For my first card I used the Tree Angle stamp set with the Stitched Triangle Dies. The trees are stamped in a combination of Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla card stock.

I used the Stitched Triangle Dies to cut out the trees. The circle in the background is a Very Vanilla Stitched Shape that has been embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing folder.

The panel on the center of the card is Mossy Meadow card stock, embossed with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder.

The greeting is from the Tree Angle stamp set and has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla card stock.
For the second card I'm using the Poinsettia Petals bundle. The poinsettia was cut from Very Vanilla card stock. The dies in this set have an outline then a second die that adds the veins on the petals.

The dies in this set have an outline then a second die that adds the veins on the petals. The center of the flowers and the berry sprigs have been cut from Gold Foil paper. The petals have been cut from Mossy Meadow card stock and as with the petals there are two dies, outline and the vein texture.

The background paper is a piece of Poinsettia Plush Specialty DSP over a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. The Merry Christmas greeting is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and has been embossed with Gold embossing powder.

Art With Heart Monthly Creative Showcase for December - Welcome to Summer!

We have made it to summer in this crazy year of 2020!
This month the Art With Heart Team are featuring projects about what summer means to us. I'm sure you will see from the beautiful projects that the very talented Art With Heart Team have to share with you that the arrival of summer means different things to different people.

I'm a beach girl. For as long as I can remember I have spent many hours living on the beach. As a child I spent many weeks on the Mornington Peninsula (in Victoria) every summer. Sand, sea and many, many shells are some of my happiest memories of summer holidays at the beach.

Warning! Sneak peek from the Stampin' Up! Jan to June Mini Catalogue!

For my card tonight I am using the Sand and Sea Suite. The suite includes the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, Seashells 3D Embossing folder and the Seaside Seashells Dies.
I started with a piece of Pearlescent Specialty paper and cut the main die from the Seaside Seashells dies. This shape was then embossed with the matching 3D embossing folder.

To add colour to this die I used some sponge daubers and ink pads. I used Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana and Pear Pizzazz.

The background card colour is Coastal Cabana that has been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

This is attached to a card base from Thick Very Vanilla card stock.

The shimmer from the Pearlescent paper is very difficult to photograph, but I think you can see it in the picture.

I added a length of  Sheer Pool Party ribbon behind the greeting. The greeting is stamped in Blushing Bride and is also from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. The ends of the greeting are punched with the Banners Pick a Punch. The final embellishments are Opal Rounds from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue.
Most of these supplies are not available from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue which starts on the 5th of Jan.

The talented Art With Heart Team have lots more summer inspiration to share with you. The links for the participating team members are listed below.

Many of the products I have used for this project are not available until the 5th of Jan, but those that are, are listed below.

Thank you for visiting, we will be back next year in Jan to feature more products from the new Jan to June Mini Catalogue.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations week 28 - Misty Moonlight

Hello stampers, I'm back with week 28 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. This week we are sharing projects featuring my favourite colour (at the moment 😉), Misty Moonlight. Misty Moonlight is one of our 2020-2022 In Colours which means that it is only in our range until the end of the 2022 annual catalogue, so I intend to make good use of it until then.

This week I have two cards to share with you. One from our current annual catalogue using Misty Moonlight with Whisper White and a small amount of Pear Pizzazz and the Boho Product Medley.

I started by cutting the long rectangle from the Ornate Layers Dies from Whisper White. I stamped the greeting in Misty Moonlight and the leaves from the Boho Indigo stamp set in Pear Pizzazz.

I extended the stems with my Pear Pizzazz marker so that when the bow was added it looks like a posy.

The two sizes of flowers are part of the Boho Indigo Medley. I have coloured the smaller flowers with  Seaside Spray Blends Marker.

The center panel was attached with Dimensionals.

For the second card I used some products that will be available in the Jan to June Mini Catalogue.
The Dragonfly Garden Bundle includes the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and a coordinating Dragonfly punch.

I stamped the dragon fly numerous times on Whisper White card stock in Smoky Slate ink. I coloured some of them with Seaside Spray Blends Markers.

The greeting is from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and has been stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. This was then cut out with the Label me Fancy punch.

The twine behind the greeting is from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. The dragonfly was punch from the coordinating Dandy Garden DSP.
The Smoky Slate mat was mounted on a Misty Moonlight card base.

All products used on these projects are from Stampin' Up! and are available in my online store. The links are below.
