Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peeks and Blended Promotion

Hello stampers, I have some peeks from the up coming Holiday Catalogue to share with you.
There are some many beautiful stamp sets and new tools in this catalogue it's hard to know where to begin.

I was very excited to see the return of Shimmer Paint in this catalogue, in four beautiful colours, Bright Copper, Champagne Mist, Frost White and Vegas Gold.
for this card I used a sponge dauber to apply Vegas Gold Shimmer paint directly to one of the deer from the Dashing Deer stamp set. I stamped this on Early Espresso card stock and cut it out using the coordinating Detailed Deer thinlits. 

 I add a bit of pizzazz to the background a added a couple of drops of Vegas Gold Shimmer paint to a Stampin Spritzer and topped it  up with rubbing alcohol. I lightly sprayed the Cherry Cobbler card stock with this mixture to give it a sparkly shimmer.

The next two cards feature images from the Beautiful Baubles set, which have been coloured with the NEW colours of Blends Markers that are in the Holiday Catalogue. Just in time for Christmas we now have Blends in Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Mango Melody, Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss and Cajun Craze.

 Love these new colours! The embossing folder used on the single bauble card is also new, called Swirls and Curls.

 The small baubles on this card were embossed in Gold embossing powder and then cut out with the Detailed Baubles thinlits, which cut out 6 of the baubles at once. Much more convenient than cutting them out singly.

These cards will be projects in my up coming Christmas Card Classes, as will the following 3D items.
I thought for something a bit different I would offer a Christmas Gifts Class where we will make this Chocolate Block Holder, a set of Gift Tags and a couple of other Christmas gifts that would be perfect to make for teachers, coaches or work mates.

 The Chocolate Block Holder contains a Lindt block but could be adjusted to fit other sizes. The chocolate is revealed by pulling on the ribbon.

 The box of Gift Tags contains 6 tags which use the Detailed Deer and Detailed Bauble thinlits and the beautiful Joyous Noel Speciality DSP.

 These's plenty of room on the back to write your Christmas message.

The final project I have to show you features my beautiful daughter, who is growing up way too fast, and the also beautiful Blended Seasons Stamp set and Thinlits Bundle.

I stamped the floral image twice on Shimmery White card stock and coloured them with the watercolour pencils.

The leaf image from Petal Garden has been stamped in Frost White Shimmer Paint. The small leaves are cut using the Petals and More thinlits from Granny Apple Green card stock and the larger leaves are from the Eclectic Layers thinlits and Garden Green card stock.

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop

I chose today's card for this Blop Hop as it combines two very special promotions.

Firstly, all of the paper used on this card comes from the Dashing Along DSP pack which can be earned for free by hosting a qualifying party during September.

The second promotion is the Blended Season bundle which includes the framelits that cut out the shape behind the reindeer and the shapes cut from White Glimmer paper.

The images of the complete set are below. This bundle is only available until the end of August.

The deer is from the Detailed Deer Thinlits and the greeting is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set, both from the new Holiday Catalogue.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Cherry Cobbler

This week's featured colour is Cherry Cobbler, a beautiful, deep, rich red. Perfect for Christmas themed cards, hence my sample today.

To make this card I used heaps of new supplies from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue.

Firstly, note the beautiful dashing deer, cut using the Detailed Deer Thinlits from the Copper Glimmer paper as part of the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.

Next new toy, I mean tool, is the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing folder that has been highlighted with a light sponging of the Bright Copper Shimmer Paint. Yay!

 Shimmer is paint is back in 4 luscious colours. So shimmery!

 

The final embelishment on this card is the new Merry Merlot and Copper Reversible Ribbon, which is behind the deer. The greeting comes from the very versatile Timeless Tidings stamp set and it has been embossed in copper.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Calypso Coral

This week the Art With Heart team are featuring Calypso Coral, one of the colours from the Subtles family.

I finally has a change to play with the Wonderful Moments stamp set, and although I don't have any weddings to attend in the foreseeable future, I chose the bride image.

I stamped her in Memento Black on Whisper White. I used the Pale Pool Party Blends to add a tiny bit of colour to her dress. Calypso Coral was used on her flowers and Crumb Cake on her hair.

The background paper is from the Tea Room paper pack. A piece of Polka Dot Tulle and Petal Pink Twine and a few Pearl Jewels are the final embellishments.

There is Wink of Stella on her dress for a bit of sparkle. It was a bit hard to photograph.
