Cherry Cobbler Christmas

Hi stamping friends, here is tonight's card for the Art With Heart Instagram Hop. I have used the Jolly Holly Bundle with the Stamp Set and Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies. This clever Embossing Folder embosses and cuts at the same time( when the dies are inside the folder).

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock with the hybrid folder and applied Dimensionals to the back of all of the leaves. So that the leaves really popped I applied Tombow Glue behind the berries and the flat/background areas of the embossed piece.

The greeting was stamped on Gray Granite card stock and heat embossed in Gold. I used the Unbounded Dies to cut the greeting in three layers, Cherry Cobbler and Gold Foil.

The cute berries are from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries. For a final bit of gold shine I added a piece of Season of Elegance DSP behind the embossed piece. If you would like to follow the entire Insta Hop please head to my Instagram page at @handstamped_by_rachel.

Next Wed I will away from internet connection in my caravan but I hope to have my Coastal Cabana project to share with you anyway.

Thanks,

Bubble Bath Cake Celebrations

Hello stamping friends, I made tonight's card for our team InstaHop with the Art With Heart Team.

Every week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours Tonight we are featuring Bubble Bath, a lovely soft pink.

I have used the Cake Celebrations Bundle, which is currently on the Last Chance List.

This card is called a Fancy Fold called a Swing Card

The cake is stamped in Bubble Bath ink and the stand in Smoky Slate. The leaves and the background circle are Pretty Peacock card stock. The tiny flowers are Bubble Bath and Berry Burst that have been painted with a Wink of Stella pen.

For the background piece I stamped a piece of Basic White card stock with the Painted Stripes stamp in Bubble Bath ink. The DSP on the front of the card is from the Beautiful Bokeh Pack.

The greeting panel on the front is Bubble Bath, with the greeting stamped in Pretty Peacock ink. The greeting on the inside is stamped in Berry Burst.

I cut the circles on the flip panel with my favourite dies, Stylish Shapes. The front greeting is cut from a die in the Unbounded Love Dies.

Blueberry Bushel Trusty Tools InstaHop

Hi stamping friends,  I joined my Art With Heart team mates in an Instagram Hop featuring Blueberry Bushel projects. We have been hopping through all of the Stampin’ Up! Colours in alphabetical order.

For today’s card I have used the Trusty Tools Bundle. I stamped the tools in Memento ink and coloured with Blueberry Bushel ink and Blends Markers.

I used a piece of Country Woods DSP for the peg board. I added some retired Brushed Metallic dots as hangers for the tools.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase Week 11 - Coastal Cabana

Coastal Cabana is a beautiful clear blue/ green colour that is perfect for tropical themed cards. I have paired Coastal Cabana with Cinnamon Cider and So Saffron for this week's showcase.

I used the Seaside View photopolymer stamp set, which has beautiful sketched images to colour. I have used my Stampin' Blends Markers to colour the single deck chair image. The colours I used are listed below.

After colouring I cut out the image using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes dies. The Cinnamon Cider piece was cut from the Stitched Rectangle Dies then embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder.

On the Coastal Cabana card base I stamped the palm trees in Coastal Cabana ink numerous times.

The greeting is stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on So Saffron card stock. The linen thread was tied around the Cinnamon Cider piece before the card was assembled.

To see more amazing projects featuring Coastal Cabana head to Cathy's blog for a complete list of this week's participants.

The new August - December Mini Catalogue is now available, if you would like a copy and don't already have a demonstrator, contact me and I will have one sent to you.

Thank you for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel
