Art With Heart Team Blog Hop - My Favourite Colour Combo

The Art with Heart Team ladies are selecting their favourite colour combinations to share with you tonight. Choosing the right colour scheme can be essential to your design and with Stampin’ Up!s stunning collection, there are 50 colours to choose from. There’s sure to be some combinations that work really well together and you can take inspiration from.
Now sit back and enjoy some time out of your day to cruise through our blog hop and soak up some colour explosion eye candy!
My favourite colour combination (at the moment, it changes alllll the time) is the colours used in the Petal Garden DSP Stack, Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, and Old Olive. There's a little bit of Sweet Sugarplum in there too.
The first card uses the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and thinlits. The beautiful bow has been tied using my new Bow Maker, given to me by my lovely customer Katy, handmade by her husband Noel. The ribbon used is Calypso Coral Ombre ribbon. The remaining cards use the Happiest of Days stamp set and the Petal Garden DSP. The new Garden Trellis embossing folders gives texture to the background of the second card. The ribbon on the same card is Fresh Fig 1/8 sheer ribbon.
The images have all been coloured using the inks and a Blender Pen. My favourite thinlits, the Stitched Shapes have cut the oval and the circle, with the Lots of Labels thinlits used on the third card.
I hope you like my projects, next on the Blog Hop is Kimberly, with her beautiful projects.

Heart of Christmas - Week 9

Only 22 Wednesdays until Christmas, just as well the Art With Heart Team is back with more Christmas goodies.

I have returned to the Merry Mistletoe set this week, with a CASE (copy and share everything) of one of the cards in the catalogue. I love how these bright colours make a very cheery Christmas card.
The colours I've used are Lemon Lime Twist, Real Red and Tranquil Tide. These also a tiny bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper as one of the snow banks too.

I was so pleased with this card that I also made a set of coordinating tags, in their own little box.

All of the tags are in the same colour scheme and all use the Merry Mistletoe Stamp Set
To see what the other members of the Art With Heart team have for you, head over to Claire's blog, as she has a full list of participants.
Happy Christmas Stampin,

Heart of Christmas - Week 8

Here is another dose of Christmas spirit from the Art with Heart Team.  There is no stamping on this card. The J and the Y have been cut using the Large Letter Dies from Wood Texture DSP.
The O is a Boxwood Wreath, with little circles from the 1/8" handheld punch that have been covered in glue from the Fine Tip Glue to make them glossy.
The tiny bow is made from the Gold 1/8" ribbon and the paper strip down each side is from the Be Merry DSP. The card base is Very Vanilla Thick cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas sample. For more inspiration head over to Claire Daly's for a full list of the team members participating.

Happy Stampin,
Rachel
