Colour Creations Blog Hop week 20 - Sending Flirty Flamingo

Hi stampers, it's time for week 20 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the core Stampin' Up! colours and week 20 means that it's time to share some Flirty Flamingo inspiration.

For this week's card I have used the Sending Flowers Bundle. I started by randomly stamping numerous stems in Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White card stock.

I used Blending Brushes and coloured the top of the card in Tahitian Tide ink and the bottom half in Granny Apple Green ink.

I stamped about 6 stems in Parakeet ink and then cut them out using the co ordinating dies. The flowers are stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink, some full strength and some stamped off. The center of the flowers are So Saffron ink. These were cut out too.

The SENDING dies are one of the main elements in the dies pack. I cut the detailed word from Flirty Flamingo and the background from Basic White card stock.

Once again I could not resist adding a couple of the Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish off the card. All of the products used to make this card are listed below, with links to my online store. Please contact me if you have any questions.

It's time to head to the next blog in our hop which belongs to the very talented Tina Gillespie.

If you have any problems with the links in our hop, please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 11- Evergreen Tree Trimming Dies

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every week until the end of November, the Art With Heart Team will be bringing you Christmas inspiration on a Monday evening.

For this week's card I have used the very versatile Tree Trimming Dies which co ordinate with the Trimming The Tree stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. These dies are one of six special release dies sets that are only available during the Perfect Partners Promotion for the month of September.

I cut the smallest tree from the Tree Trimming Dies from one of the sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP. I used my Stampin' Pick Tool to poke out the foliage to give the tree some dimension.

The mottled greens in this sheet of DSP make a lovely Christmas tree.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock and this has been layered with another sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP pack.

I cut the oval frame from Distressed Gold Specialty paper using one of the Fabulous Frames Dies, then used the same die again to cut an oval to go behind the Christmas Tree in Soft Succulent card stock.

For the greeting I first had to cut the small oval from Sift Succulent card stock using a die from the Tree Trimming set and then stamp the greeting from the Trimming the Tree stamp set. Usually I stamp the greeting first then cut it out but because the small oval die does not have a hole in the center to allow accurate positioning over the greeting it was necessary to reverse the process. Luckily the stamp set is clear so it was easy to see where I was stamping.

The final embellishment was a star cut from the Very Vanilla Glimmer paper from the Glimmer Specialty paper pack.

Now it's time to hop to the next blog for more Christmas inspiration from Sharon Davern.

Sharon is also the host of our Heart of Christmas blog hops so if you encounter any issues moving between links please head to her blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 19 - Evening Evergreen and Gold Holly

Hi friends, it's time for week 19 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week the Art With Heart Team are featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours and this week we are up to Evening Evergreen which is a lovely deep, rich green that is one of the 2020-2022 In Colours.

I started with a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock and randomly stamped the holly leaves from the Christmas Season stamp set in Versamark Ink. I heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

I also stamped the Merry Christmas from the Christmas to Remember stamp set in Versamark Ink and heat embossed in Gold. I cut out the greeting with one of the Seasonal Labels Dies.

I cut numerous circles from red glimmer paper and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front. This piece was layered on to Cherry Cobbler and then onto a Soft Succulent card base.

I used a couple of Gold Holly Leaves and two smaller circles of Red Glimmer paper to highlight the end of the greeting. All of the products used on this card are listed below, with links to my online store.

Make sure you head to the next hop on our blog hop, my fellow namesake in the team, Rachel Palmieri for more Evening Evergreen inspiration.
