Heart of Christmas week 21 - Lights Aglow Bundle

It's week 21 of the Heart of Christmas blog hop with the Art With Heart Team. It's mid November already so if you haven't started your Christmas cards yet then you'd better get going. We are here to help you with more amazing Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team.

Today I'm sharing a card with you that I used the Lights Aglow Suite, which includes the Christmas Lights Bundle, Brightest Glow Bundle, Glimmer 12" x 12" Speciality Paper, Specialty Foil Paper and Lights Aglow DSP. I love the traditional colour combination of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

The tree and the lower panel are cut from the Lights Aglow DSP and the top panel is embossed with the snowflake embossing folder from the Wintry 3D folder pack. I added some gold highlights with the Gold Glimmer paper from the Glimmer Specialty Paper pack.

The greeting from the Brightest Glow bundle was heat embossed in gold embossing powder and cut out using one of the dies from the co ordinating die pack.

Now it's time to hop to the next stop in our blog hop, which belongs to Tina Gillespie. You will love her beautiful project.

Heart of Christmas week 18 - Christmas Season

Hi stampers, it's week 18 of the Heart of Christmas with the Art With Heart team. Every Monday evening until the end Nov we will be sharing our favourite Christmas inspiration with you.
This week I have a super fast card to share with you. I have used the Christmas Season stamp set and used a few stamps around the outside of the card with the greeting in the center.

I stamped the pine needles in Evening Evergreen, the leaves in Old Olive and the holly berries in Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler. The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen.

I'm looking forward to replicating this card numerous times to bolster my Christmas card stash.

Now it's time to see what Sharon Davern has to share with us. Sharon is also the host of our beautiful Christmas blog hop so if you have any issues with the links in our hop head over to her blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

All of the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card are available from my online store, the links are listed below.

Thanks for visiting my blog, if you have any questions please contact me, I'm always happy to discuss stamping :)

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 11- Evergreen Tree Trimming Dies

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every week until the end of November, the Art With Heart Team will be bringing you Christmas inspiration on a Monday evening.

For this week's card I have used the very versatile Tree Trimming Dies which co ordinate with the Trimming The Tree stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. These dies are one of six special release dies sets that are only available during the Perfect Partners Promotion for the month of September.

I cut the smallest tree from the Tree Trimming Dies from one of the sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP. I used my Stampin' Pick Tool to poke out the foliage to give the tree some dimension.

The mottled greens in this sheet of DSP make a lovely Christmas tree.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock and this has been layered with another sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP pack.

I cut the oval frame from Distressed Gold Specialty paper using one of the Fabulous Frames Dies, then used the same die again to cut an oval to go behind the Christmas Tree in Soft Succulent card stock.

For the greeting I first had to cut the small oval from Sift Succulent card stock using a die from the Tree Trimming set and then stamp the greeting from the Trimming the Tree stamp set. Usually I stamp the greeting first then cut it out but because the small oval die does not have a hole in the center to allow accurate positioning over the greeting it was necessary to reverse the process. Luckily the stamp set is clear so it was easy to see where I was stamping.

The final embellishment was a star cut from the Very Vanilla Glimmer paper from the Glimmer Specialty paper pack.

Now it's time to hop to the next blog for more Christmas inspiration from Sharon Davern.

Sharon is also the host of our Heart of Christmas blog hops so if you encounter any issues moving between links please head to her blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Heart of Christmas week 10 - Leaves of Holly Distressed Gold

Hi Stampers, Welcome to week 10 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every Monday evening until late Nov the Art With Heart Team are participating in a Christmas blog hop to kick start your Christmas inspiration.
This week I have used the Leaves of Holly Bundle and the Boughs of Holly DSP.

I cut three of the leaves from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and the berries from Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler card stock.

The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Succulent card stock and was cut with one of the Leaves of Holly Dies. The last thing I added is a piece of gold twine from the Simply Elegant Trim pack.

This card was very quick and easy to make and I love the Distressed Gold paper on the Boughs of Holly DSP.
All of the products used to make this card are available from my online store, the links are listed below.

Now it's time to hop over to Rosa Leyden's blog to enjoy her amazing creation.
