Jar of Flowers Pop Up, and out!

This card was inspired by a video that was in German by Brigitte Sing. She did such a good job on her video I could follow along anyway.

This card uses the new Jar of Flowers bundle, available next week in the 2020-21 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue. The colours are Rich Razzleberry, Purple Posy, So Saffron, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. The images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

I will post instructions after I have held a class on this technique.

Jar of Flowers Class

The next class I am holding, after my catalogue launches is a product based class using the Jar of Flowers bundle. These are the four cards we will be making, using different techniques with the one stamp set.

Meet the new In Colours - part 5

The final new In Colour I’d like to introduce you to is Cinnamon Cider. This warm caramel colour co ordinates perfectly with many of our current colours and I love it with Misty Moonlight as shown below.

Here’s a comparison between Cinnamon Cider and other browns in our current colour range.

I have used the World of Dreams Suite and again the Brass Foil sheets for the sample below. The embossing folder used for the background is called Old World Paper, and is available in the 2020-22 Catalogue from the 3rd of June.

This brings me to the end of my introduction to the new In Colours. They are all available from the 3rd of June, for the next two years.

Meet the new In Colours - part 4

Today’s featured new In Colour is Just Jade. This lovely pale emerald colour is a wonderful addition to our colour range.

Here’s a comparison between Just Jade and some of our current colours.

The card I made to showcase this colour features the Forever Greenery Suite and the Brass Foil sheets.

Meet the new InColours - part 3

I’m back today with the third new InColour, Misty Moonlight. This is my favourite of the new InColours, it’s a lovely rich blue that complements Night of Navy beautiful.

Here’s a comparison of Misty Moonlight with some of our other current blues.

The card I made featuring Misty Moonlight uses the 2020-2022 InColour DSP pack and the Forever Gold Laser Cut Speciality DSP.

The other colours used are Seaside Spray and Night of Navy. I will be back tomorrow with Just Jade.

Meet the new InColours - part 2

I’m back today with the second new InColour, Magenta Madness. This colour is a very bright vibrant pink. 
Here’s a comparison between Magenta Madness and some of our other current colours.

The card I made featuring Magenta Madness uses the Flowers For Every Season DSP. This paper pack is 6” x 6” and uses all of the new InColours.

The card base is Magenta Madness and the stamp on the background of the greeting is from the Jar of Flowers stamp set. All products are available in the new 2020-21 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue beginning June 3rd. Contact me for more information.

Meet the new InColours part 1

Arriving with the new Catalogue are 5 new InColours. These colours are chosen by Stampin’ Up! as being the current in vogue colours. They stay in our product range for two years and there are 5 new colours every 12 months.

The InColours range includes Cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Ink pads, Stampin’ Write Markers and Stampin’ Blends.

I am going to feature one InColour a day for the next five days.
Today’s colour is Bumble Bee.

The card I have made using this colour features the Ornate Garden Suite. 

This Suite premiers in the new Catalogue but has been released early and is available to purchase now.

Art With Heart Creative Showcase - May

Welcome to the Monthly Art With Heart Creative Showcase. This month the Art With Heart Team have amazing projects to share with you that have been inspired by the card sketch below. The sketch is to be used as a starting point and has been interpreted in many creative ways by the Art With Heart Team.

The first card I have to show you features the On To Adventure stamp set. The image was stamped in Memento and coloured with Blends Markers. The DSP used is Tropical Oasis from the Occasions Catalogue, which adds a wonderful tropical feel to the card. The leaves are from the Tropical dies and the butterflies are from the Butterfly Beauty dies. Unfortunately all of these products apart from the butterflies are retiring on the 2nd of June unless sold out sooner. Please contact me quickly if you would like to purchase.

The second card I have to share with you still follows the sketch, but a bit more loosely than the previous card. It features the Poppy Moments dies and the beautiful Peaceful Poppies DSP. Fortunately the Poppy dies are returning in the new catalogue but the paper is not.

The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Poppy Moments Dies and the Peaceful moments stamp set is available as a bundle at a saving of 10%.

The next demonstrator to share her interpretation of the sketch is the fabulous Judy May.

 As a demonstrator I get to preorder some items before the catalogue begins. The card I have to show you tonight uses the Tasteful Touches bundle. It’s one of my favourites from the new catalogue.

The colours I used are Early Espresso, Rococo Rose and Crumb Cake. The DSP greeting panel has been cut using the Tasteful Touches Dies.
