Colour Creations Blog Hop week 37 - Petal Pink Park

Hello stamping friends, I've finally made it back to the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week the team have been continuing to feature one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are up to Petal Pink, which is a delicate peach pink that is in the Subtle Colour family.
Petal Pink is used in many of the current Designer Series Papers so I chose to feature the Regency Park DSP from the Jan to June Mini Catalogue. Regency Park DSP co ordinates with both the Petal Park Punch Bundle and the Sentimental Park Stamp and Dies Bundle, both of which I have used on my card.

I matched the colours of the flowers and leaves to one of the sheets of DSP. The center of the flowers were coloured by hand with the Mango Melody and Night of Navy Blends Markers.

To match the leaves I stamped the outline in Shaded Spruce ink and then stamped off the stamp for the solid image that colours in the leaves.

The flowers were cut out using the co ordinating punch and the leaves were fussy cut.

Whilst I had all of the supplies out on my desk I was inspired to crank out one more card.

I'm very happy to have made it back for the blog hop, hopefully I'll be back next week with the next beautiful Stampin' Up! colour, Polished Pink.

Now it's time to see what amazing creation Di Furniss has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 4 - Blackberry Bliss

The Art With Heart Team are back with another Colour Creations Showcase, this week featuring the colour Blackberry Bliss.
This week I have paired Blackberry Bliss with the lighter pink shades of Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride.

The stamp set I have used is Happiest of Birthdays. I placed the largest stamp on the Stamparatus and ink it firstly with Blushing Bride, then the second line with Rococo Rose and the last section with Blackberry Bliss.

This was stamped on Whisper White and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle dies.

For the background Blackberry Bliss I used the dot mask from the Basic Patterns Decorative Masks. I placed some of the the Shimmery White embossing paste on a silicone craft mat and combined a small amount of Blushing Bride ink refill.

I applied this coloured paste to the top left corner of the sheet. I then added some Rococo Rose ink the the paste and applied it to the middle section of the card stock. I added Blackberry Bliss ink refill to the remainder of the paste and then covered the remaining section of the background with this mix.

The ribbon is tied in a bow around the greeting piece.
I have coloured a few of the Rhinestone Jewels with the Blackberry Bliss and Rococo Rose Blends Markers.

The card base is Blushing Bride.

For more Blushing Bride inspiration head to Cathy's blog for a full list of today's participants.

Thank you for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Art With Heart Creative Showcase - May

Welcome to the Monthly Art With Heart Creative Showcase. This month the Art With Heart Team have amazing projects to share with you that have been inspired by the card sketch below. The sketch is to be used as a starting point and has been interpreted in many creative ways by the Art With Heart Team.
The first card I have to show you features the On To Adventure stamp set. The image was stamped in Memento and coloured with Blends Markers. The DSP used is Tropical Oasis from the Occasions Catalogue, which adds a wonderful tropical feel to the card. The leaves are from the Tropical dies and the butterflies are from the Butterfly Beauty dies. Unfortunately all of these products apart from the butterflies are retiring on the 2nd of June unless sold out sooner. Please contact me quickly if you would like to purchase.

The second card I have to share with you still follows the sketch, but a bit more loosely than the previous card. It features the Poppy Moments dies and the beautiful Peaceful Poppies DSP. Fortunately the Poppy dies are returning in the new catalogue but the paper is not.

The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Poppy Moments Dies and the Peaceful moments stamp set is available as a bundle at a saving of 10%.

The next demonstrator to share her interpretation of the sketch is the fabulous Judy May.

If you have a broken link or have come to this blog hop midway, you can view all the participants below:
