Colour Creations Showcase Week 18 Garden Green

Hello fellow stampers. It's time for week 18 of the Colour Creations Showcase with my friends from the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring on of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are featuring Garden Green, one of our many greens from the Regals Colour Family. Garden Green is usually a colour that I keep for Christmas creations, but the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP from the annual catalogue has changed my thinking.

I used my trusty paper snips to fussy cut three of the images from the DSP. I actually have two sets of snips, I keep one pair for cutting paper only and the other ones for all of my other cutting.

I made the background by cutting a mask using one of the Basic Border Dies, in the cloud shape. I used a Blending Brush and applied Balmy Blue over the mask across the top of the background piece.

The frame around the plants was cut from a piece of In Good Taste DSP using two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The card base is Garden Green card stock.

For more Garden Green inspiration it's time to head to Rosa Leyden's blog for the next step in our blog hop.

If you lose your way in our blog hop or find a broken link head to Tina's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 38 - Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie is this week's featured colour in the AWHT Colour Creations Showcase. Pumpkin Pie is not a colour that I use regularly but it is a lovely clear orange colour.

I have combined Pumpkin Pie with some of the other orange shades in our range to make my bunch of flowers.
The flowers and leaves are cut using the Pierced Blooms Dies.

I stamped the stems and some of the background leaves in Granny Apple Green ink on a Basic White Stitched Rectangle.

I had fun making this card, the hardest part was deciding which colour to make each flower. The greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink on a strip of Basic White card stock.

The final embellishment on my card was a double bow made from Linen Thread.

For more Pumpkin Pie inspiration head to Cathy's blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

Rachel

Hello Stampers! I'm back with a new Stampin' Up! bundle to share with you, Hydrangea Haven.

Hydrangea Haven is a bundle in the Jan to June Mini Catalogue. The bundle includes the Hydrangea Haven stamp set and the Hydrangea Dies.

To make this card I stamped the main image on Crumb Cake card stock in Stazon Jet Black ink. I used Stazon ink because I wanted to watercolour this image and I didn't want it to bleed.

I first coloured the image with White Craft ink and the middle sized Watercolour Painters. I let the image dry then I coloured over the top with Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight and Pear Pizzazz ink.

The image was cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

The greeting is stamped of Vellum in Stazon ink.

Check out your Jan to June Mini Catalogue for more information and samples. If you live in Aust, and do not have a catalogue already, contact me and I will send one straight to you.
I will be back soon with more samples,
Happy stamping,
Rachel
