Hello fellow stampers. It's time for week 18 of the Colour Creations Showcase with my friends from the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring on of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are featuring Garden Green, one of our many greens from the Regals Colour Family. Garden Green is usually a colour that I keep for Christmas creations, but the Bloom Where You're Planted DSP from the annual catalogue has changed my thinking.
I used my trusty paper snips to fussy cut three of the images from the DSP. I actually have two sets of snips, I keep one pair for cutting paper only and the other ones for all of my other cutting.
I made the background by cutting a mask using one of the Basic Border Dies, in the cloud shape. I used a Blending Brush and applied Balmy Blue over the mask across the top of the background piece.
The frame around the plants was cut from a piece of In Good Taste DSP using two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
The card base is Garden Green card stock.
For more Garden Green inspiration it's time to head to Rosa Leyden's blog for the next step in our blog hop.
If you lose your way in our blog hop or find a broken link head to Tina's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.
Thanks for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel
