Irresistible Blooms Online Exclusives - Reintroducing Pretty Peacock

Hello stamping friends, I have a card to share with you which uses some of the Online Exclusive products. These products are only available online until sold out. The links to purchase these products are listed below.

The products I've used for this card are the Irresistible Blooms Bundle and the Basic 3D Embossing Folders.

The flowers were stamped on Fluid Watercolour Paper in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. They were then coloured with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral ink.

Fortunately I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to previous Stampin' Up! colours so I still had half a pack of Pretty Peacock card stock AND an ink pad. This seems to be one of the past colours that is returning to our range in the new catalogue that starts on the 2nd of May.

The Pretty Peacock card stock was stamped with the splatter stamp and then embossed with one of the Online Exclusive Basic 3D Embossing Folders.

The circles and lines along the side of the card and the leaves were cut from other dies in the Irresistible Blooms Dies.

The greeting was heat embossed then cut with the oval die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies.

All of these products, apart from the Pretty Peacock products, are now available from my online Stampin' Up! store.

Please contact me if you have any questions, alway happy to chat about Stampin' Up!

Rachel

Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 11- Evergreen Tree Trimming Dies

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every week until the end of November, the Art With Heart Team will be bringing you Christmas inspiration on a Monday evening.

For this week's card I have used the very versatile Tree Trimming Dies which co ordinate with the Trimming The Tree stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. These dies are one of six special release dies sets that are only available during the Perfect Partners Promotion for the month of September.

I cut the smallest tree from the Tree Trimming Dies from one of the sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP. I used my Stampin' Pick Tool to poke out the foliage to give the tree some dimension.

The mottled greens in this sheet of DSP make a lovely Christmas tree.

The card base is Evening Evergreen card stock and this has been layered with another sheet from the Boughs of Holly DSP pack.

I cut the oval frame from Distressed Gold Specialty paper using one of the Fabulous Frames Dies, then used the same die again to cut an oval to go behind the Christmas Tree in Soft Succulent card stock.

For the greeting I first had to cut the small oval from Sift Succulent card stock using a die from the Tree Trimming set and then stamp the greeting from the Trimming the Tree stamp set. Usually I stamp the greeting first then cut it out but because the small oval die does not have a hole in the center to allow accurate positioning over the greeting it was necessary to reverse the process. Luckily the stamp set is clear so it was easy to see where I was stamping.

The final embellishment was a star cut from the Very Vanilla Glimmer paper from the Glimmer Specialty paper pack.

Now it's time to hop to the next blog for more Christmas inspiration from Sharon Davern.

Sharon is also the host of our Heart of Christmas blog hops so if you encounter any issues moving between links please head to her blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Heart of Christmas week 10 - Leaves of Holly Distressed Gold

Hi Stampers, Welcome to week 10 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every Monday evening until late Nov the Art With Heart Team are participating in a Christmas blog hop to kick start your Christmas inspiration.
This week I have used the Leaves of Holly Bundle and the Boughs of Holly DSP.

I cut three of the leaves from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and the berries from Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler card stock.

The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Succulent card stock and was cut with one of the Leaves of Holly Dies. The last thing I added is a piece of gold twine from the Simply Elegant Trim pack.

This card was very quick and easy to make and I love the Distressed Gold paper on the Boughs of Holly DSP.
All of the products used to make this card are available from my online store, the links are listed below.

Now it's time to hop over to Rosa Leyden's blog to enjoy her amazing creation.

If you encounter any problems with the links in this blog hop please head to Sharon Davern's blog as she is the lovely host of these Christmas blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Rachel
