Colour Creations Blog Hop week 34 Misty Moonlight One More Year

Happy New Stamping Year friends!

Welcome back to the Colour Creations Blog Hops with the Art With Heart Team. We are up to week 34 which features one of my favourite and most used colours, Misty Moonlight. Misty Moonlight is a beautiful dusty blue/gray colour that works perfectly with many SU colours.

For tonight's card I have used Misty Moonlight with a new stamp set from the Jan- April Mini Catalogue called One More Year. This fun stamp set is great fun to colour and can be used for many occasions.

I stamped the cake and dog image in Memento Black ink and coloured them with my Blends Markers. The colours I used are listed below.

The greeting is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.
I cut out both images with a circle die and the greeting with a banner, all from the Stylish Shapes Dies

The background paper is from the Country Lace DSP.

Now it's time to hop over and see what amazing Misty Moonlight creation my lovely friend Sharon Davern has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 30 - Highland Heather Daisies

It'sWednesday and time for the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are featuring the beautiful Highland Heather. Highland Heather is a lovely soft mauve/purple in our Subtles colour family.

I used the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies for tonight's card.

I inked each of the flower heads in Highland Heather and then used a Sponge Dauber to add some Blackberry Bliss ink to the center. I stamped on Basic White card stock and then cut out with the coordinating dies.

For the greenery I cut some leaves from Shy Shamrock and the thin fronds from Shaded Spruce card stock. The background behind the flowers a Basic White embossed with the Cane Weave embossing folder.
As I didn't have any Highland Heather ribbon I used a piece of White Sheer ribbon that I coloured with a Highland Heather Blends Marker. I shredded the ends of the ribbon with Stampin' Up! Snips.

I have one more Highland Heather card to share with you. For this card I used the Zinnias Bundle.
I started by colouring a piece of Watercolour Paper with a Waterpainter and inks in Highland Heather, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry.

I cut the flower pieces from this Watercolour Paper.
The background of the card is from the Country Woods DSP pack.

The greeting is from the Zinnias stamp set and is inked in Early Espresso on Highland Heather card stock. I cut out the greeting with a die from the Unbounded Love Die set.

All of these products are available from my Stampin' Up! online store. Please contact me if you have any questions about my projects.

Now it's time for the next hop in our blog hop. Please head to Christine Blain's blog to see what stunning project she has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Colour Creations Week 25 - Fresh Freesia Racing By

Hello stampers, here we are with week 25 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we have reached the halfway point with Fresh Freesia, which a beautiful mauve colour in the Subtles Colour Family.

I am running short of masculine cards in my stash so I wanted to see if I could use Fresh Freesia for a masculine card.

I have used the Racing By stamp set and combined Fresh Freesia with Coastal Cabana and Azure Afternoon.

I stamped the car outline three times and then filled them in with either Fresh Freesia, Coastal Cabana and Azure Afternoon.

The greeting is stamped in Fresh Freesia and is attached with Dimensionals. The checkered flags are stamped in Memento Black ink and then fussy cut.

All of these products are available through my Online Store.

Now it's time for the next stop on our blog hop which belongs to the very talented Sharon Davern.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop, please head to Cathy's blog as she is the amazing host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Next week we will be back with projects featuring Garden Green.
