Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase Week 13 - Crushed Curry

This week for the Art With Heart Team Colour Inspiration we are featuring Crushed Curry. This is probably the colour I use the least, but it really is a lovely rich yellow colour. I'll have to make an effort to pull it out more often.

For my card today I am using the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the matching Nature's Roots Dies. I have used Crushed Curry as my card base and for a couple of the leaves. 

The stamped leaves are stamped in Crushed Curry first then I sponged edges with Cherry Cobbler. 

The bow is from Linen Thread, attached with a glue dot.

The greeting is from the stamp set Happiest of Birthdays and it has been stamped on a piece cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase Week 12 - Crumb Cake

Welcome to the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. Every week we are featuring one of the colours in the Stampin' Up! range. This week our featured colour is Crumb Cake. Crumb Cake is my go to background colour, it co ordinates perfectly with all of the Stampin' Up! colours.

Today I have paired Crumb Cake with Rococo Rose and Mossy Meadow.

The stamp set I have used for today's card is Fancy Phrases. The larger image was stamped on the background in Crumb Cake ink and the smaller floral image was used on the focal piece.

The image was coloured using Stampin' Blends Markers.

The Rococo Rose In Colour Ribbon co ordinates perfectly with this card. Behind the ribbon is a Square Vellum Doily from the August - Dec Mini Catalogue. Links to all of the products used to make this card that are available in my online store are listed below.

Heart of Christmas - August

 

Another month closer to Christmas 2020 and the Art With Heart Team are back with another Heart of Christmas collection.

For my card this month I have used the Tag Buffet stamp set which co ordinates with the Tag Buffet Project Kit, but I love the stamp set on it's own. I love the big Merry Christmas script, looking forward to using this stamp on lots of projects.

I used my Stamparatus and the small holly and berries and the two sprigs to create this card. I have a template that I can use to stamp in a circular motion with the Stamparatus.

I stamped the holly leaves in Mossy Meadow, followed by the berries in Real Red. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive.

The images were coloured using Stampin' Up! Blends Markers. As the Stampin' Up! inks are water based any of the colours are suitable to colour with Blends Markers.

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set.

The background colour is Very Vanilla and the mount and card base are Real Red and Mossy Meadow.
