Art With Heart Team Creative Showcase for September is Masculine Themed

Welcome to the September Art With Heart Monthly Creative Showcase. This month the team are featuring Masculine themed cards.

Every second Thursday of the month the Art With Heart Team are here to inspire you with you their amazing creations on many different themes.

I usually find Masculine cards more hard to design than feminine ones with lots for flowers and fuss, but I'm very excited to show you what I have made for tonight.

I used my Happy Dies and some In Good Taste DSP for the main layer.

I cut another HAPPY from Early Espresso to make a shadow effect.

The mat behind Happy is Balmy Blue.

The BIRTHDAY stamp is from the Well Said stamp set and has been die cut with one of the Rectangular Stitched Dies made shorter by cutting once then repositioning the die to cut off the end of the die cut piece.

Inside the card is a little Pop Up surprise...

I have used the A Good Man stamp set to create this pop up in the center of the card. I originally found this technique demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire on Pinterest.

It's a very simple technique that I will be sharing in my Online Pop Up Class on the 24th of September.

The image has been stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Stampin Blends Markers.

The grass across the base of the card is two layers of Friendly Silhouette Dies in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. The Linen Tread around the base of the card is the final touch.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - week 15 Early Espresso

Welcome to week 15 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase, this week featuring Early Espresso. Early Espresso is one of our Neutral colours and is a base colour that co ordinates with most of our colour range.

This week I have made two cards from the same layout but with different highlight colours.

The first card uses Early Espresso and Rococo Rose. I have used The Right Triangle bundle to cut and stamp various triangle shapes and colours.

This card also uses the foil sheet from the Ornate Garden Speciality DSP. The greeting is stamped in Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder and is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.

The second card uses Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy and one of the sheets from the World of Good Specialty DSP.

The smallest triangles are cut from Gold Foil sheets and the Early Espresso triangle has been embossed with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.

I like that I could use Early Espresso and Whisper White as the base and by changing a couple of colours I could get two different cards. With different greetings these cards could be used for different occasions.

A Card For Dad

Here is the card I made for my Dad for Father's Day.

The front of the card is fairly simple, using the Playful Alphabet and the World of Good Specialty DSP. The card base is Basic Black.

Inside the card I used the Happy Dies and the Playful Alphabet Dies to create a Happy Father's Day pop up surprise.

The Father's word is cut from Brushed Metallic Gold paper and the Day is cut from Basic Black card stock.

Stuck in ISO in Victoria it was not the usual family gathering we'd have for Father's Day but we Facetimed Dad and wished him a wonderful day from a far. I hope you all had a lovely day too.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - week 14 Daffodil Delight

This week the Art With Heart Colour Creation featured colour is Daffodil Delight. I love this bright, vibrant yellow. Today I have combined it with two other Bright colours, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo.
