Art With Heart Occasions and Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Today I’m excited to bring you a blog hop with some of the awesome ladies in the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team. Today we focus on the new Occasions Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Catalogue and also Sale-a-bration! If you place an order with me during Sale-a-bration, you can choose a free item with every $90 you spend in one transaction. There are lots of fabulous free items to choose from (ask me for a brochure and an Occasions Catalogue) and the promotion goes right through until 31st March.   Better still, become part of our awesome fun, friendly and supportive Art With Heart team. We have a really large team Australia wide that has been around since Stampin’ Up! came to Australia. We have a very active team forum and also have in person stamp days, challenges, card swaps, product shares and more. When you join during Sale-a-bration, you get to choose whatever you like from our catalogues, but pay just $169 for $235 worth of product (that’s a huge discount!) but also you get to choose between two free product options. It’s quick and easy to join online too. Ask me how!

The projects I have for you today both use the new stamp set High Tide, Firstly,  using lots of heat embossing...

On Night of Navy I heat embossed the lighthouse with white Embossing powder. The shore is stamped in Night of Navy. The water is stamped in Versamark then a combination of clear Embossing powder and Dazzling Diamonds. The beam of light is stamped in Versamark and then embossed in a combination of white EP and Dazzling Diamonds.  Lots of embossing, but I love the effect. The second card is more colourful.

I stamped the lighthouse first to ensure that it was straight. Then the shore. I masked the lighthouse and the shore before stamping the water in Dapper Denim and Pool Party. The sky was sponged with Soft Sky. The birds and the greeting are stamped in Basic Gray.

  8. I love lighthouses but I've been in two minds as to whether this a "Need to Have" set or not. I really love your 2nd card.
