Heart of Christmas - Week 7

It's Wednesday and I'm back with the Art with Heart Team to share more Christmas inspiration with you.

Today's cards use the brand new, only released to demonstrators and new recruits(see details below) set called Carols of Christmas.

For this card I started with Whisper White then sponged the top 2 thirds with Night of Navy. I used the star stamp in some bleach to get the sky effect. The greeting is white embossed on Vellum and the n attached with Tombo glue. The trees are die cut from Whisper White and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper using the matching dies called Card Front Builder thinlits.

On this card the border is die cut using the Card Front Builder thinlits and Very Vanilla cardstock. The greeting is stamped on Very Vanilla and cut using the Stitched Shapes thinlits. The small poinsettias  are stamped and cut with the same set. The finishing touch is cutting a Boxwood Wreath in half using wire cutters and attaching the halves with glue dots to the card front. When mounted on Garden Green card base the border stands out.

Here are the details for this months special.

  1. Beautiful cards, Rachel. Love the blue sponged background and crisp white trees. The Boxwood Wreath looks fabulous with the large greeting and traditional colours.
