Art With Heart December Blog Hop - Add A Little Sparkle!

The Art With Heart Team are back with our last Blog Hop for 2019. Getting in the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebrations, this month our theme is ‘Add A Little Sparkle’.

We have a huge range of sparkly  projects to share with you featuring products such as Glimmer paper, Rhinestones, Delicata Ink, Shimmery White card stock and much more. All of these products are available from Stampin’ Up! and any of these lovely ladies would be happy to assist you.

I may have added more than a little sparkle to my project for tonight.
 Finally a scrapbook page!
I got a bit carried away with the application of the Golden Glitz to the background card stock, so much so that the card stock is a bit warped, but I'm sure it will flatten out in the scrapbook. To get this effect I combined a few drops of Golden Glitz Delicata refill with some rubbing alcohol in a Stampin Spritzer and liberally sprayed it on the page.

The stars were cut from Gold Glimmer paper using the Stitched Stars dies from the current Holiday Catalogue.

The word HAPPY is from the Merry Christmas dies and was cut from Gold Foil paper. The NYE used the Lined Alphabet stamp and was heat embossed in Gold Emboss Powder on Basic Black card stock.

The 2018 was first stamped on the photo with Saddle Brown Stazon (coming soon in the 2020 Occasions Catalogue, get your copy now). I then placed Rhinestone Jewels over the stamped image. The Rhinestones were coloured using a Daffodil Delight Blends Marker to give them a gold look.
The final touch was a swirl of Gold Edged Ribbon attached with glue dots.

The next demonstrator to share their sparkly projects with you is the delightful Catherine Proctor.

Heart of Christmas - Week 16

This is the last week of the Heart of Christmas blog hops for this year. It's been great fun sharing my Christmas creations with you.
This week I have a non traditional coloured Christmas card to share with you.
The stamp sets I have used are Shine Bright and Itty Bitty Christmas.

The Rococo Rose card base has been embossed using the 3D Subtle Embossing folder. A strip of Mint Macron DSP has been placed down the side of the card.

The Christmas tree from Shine Bright has been heat embossed in Silver Emboss Powder on Whisper White card stock. I coloured this image with Blends Markers in Rococo Rose, Mint Macron, So Saffron and Crumb Cake.

The Christmas tree is mounted on Seaside Spray card stock. The Star shapes behind the tree and greeting have been cut from the Christmas Layers dies. The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and has also been heat embossed in Silver. A rhinestone on top of the tree is the final touch.

For the last time this year you can see what the other Art With Heart Team members have been creating by visiting Judy May's blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

Thank  you hopping by and I hope you a wonderful Christmas.
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Art With Heart November Blog Hop - Boxes and Gift Bags

The Art With Heart Team are back with another inspirational Blog Hop. This month we are featuring Gift Bags and Boxes, just in time for the Christmas gift giving season.
The bags and boxes featured are all made using current Stampin’ Up! products and any of our wonderful team members are happy to help you with the supplies you will need to reproduce these beautiful projects.

For my lolly gift box I have combined the Yummy Christmas Stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue and..
the Cuckoo Clock dies from the Annual catalogue.

I stamped in Memento ink and die cut two of the gingerbread house images and coloured them with the Blends Markers in Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Real Red, Mint Macron, and So Saffron.

The plastic bag contains red jelly beans ans the top of the bag is tied with Curly Real Red Ribbon.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 15cm x 7cm. I scored each long side at 1cm and the short side at 5 cm and 15cm. I applied Tear n' Tape to the long sides and sniped the 1cm score lines at the 5cm score lines.

Each of the 1cm sections was attached to the reverse side of each Gingerbread house to form the box.

I thought this cute little box might make a perfect place setting gift on our Christmas table.

Thank you for visiting and don't miss the other amazing projects the Art With Heart ladies have to share with you. Next in line is the very clever Tina Gillespie.
