Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop week 42 Shaded Spruce

It's week 42 of the Art With Heart Colour Creation Blog Hop and we are featuring Shaded Spruce which is a deep, rich green colour from the Stampin' Up! Regals colour family.

To make this week's card I have used the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set and the Baby Wipe Technique.

The Baby Wipe Technique involves starting with an ordinary baby wipe, folded in half and covering an area large enough for your stamp with drips of different coloured inks. Use ink refills and drip them directly onto the baby wipe. Cover all white space in the area you need. Make sure you lay the baby wipe on a tray or plate as it will soak through.

The ink colours I used for this card were Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz.

The strip of DSP along the left side is from the Regal 6"x 6" DSP pack and the green twine is from the Fan Bakers Twine Pack.
All of the products used in this card are listed below and are available in my online store. Apart from the baby wipes which are available at supermarkets.

Now it time to see what the very talented Diane Furniss has to share with us. Either click on her name or the graphic below to head to her blog.

If you encounter any problems with the links in our blog hop head to Cathy's blog as she is our coordinator and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

This sale finishes tomorrow! Contact me with any questions.

Happy stamping and thanks for visiting,

Rachel

  6. Such a pretty result using this stamp set Rachel. I’m struggling to come up with ideas on how to use it. Your card has inspired me to try out the baby wipe technique with the stamps in this set - thank you.
