Colour Creations Blog Hop week 33 - Misty Moonlight

Hello and welcome to week 33 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Our feature colour this week is Misty Moonlight, a lovely dusty blue that returned to our range earlier this year, Yay!

For today's card I have a fancy fold that I call an Angled Z Fold card. The angel image on the front is from the So Very Merry stamp set and has been coloured with Blends Markers.

Each of the patterned DSP I have used are from different paper packs, O Holly Night, Winter Meadow and Countryside Inn.

This card still only uses half an A4 sheet of cardstock for the base, but it is slightly larger than a standard card and will need an envelope 14cm x 14cm.

The greeting is from the Christmas Classics stamp set and was stamped in Real Red Ink.
Now for the next hop in our blog hop please head to Christine Blain’s blog to see what she has to share with us.

If you encounter any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

We are taking a break for a couple of weeks and will be back on the 3rd of Jan, although I won't be as I'll be on a cruise boat heading towards Adelaide :) .

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Rachel, your mix of patterned DSPs from O Holly Night, Winter Meadow and Countryside Inn all look fabulous together on your fancy fold. Love your colouring of the stamped image!

  2. Oh, how pretty! The mix of blue DSPs is gorgeous, and the angel image suits the front of the card perfectly.

  3. Beautiful use of papers in Misty Moonlight, Rach ... and I LOVE how you've coloured the angel image (particularly the background in Misty Moonlight). This is a really lovely Christmas card.

  4. What a great design with perfect selection of DSPs and the coloured Angel image. I love how you've added the greeting too!
