New In Colour Strawberry Slush Impressions Abloom

Here is the card I made for our team Colour Creations Blog Hop on Instagram. Ever week members of the Art With Heart Team are featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. To follow the full hop please head to my Instagram page @handstamped_by_rachel.

This week we're featuring our fourth In Colour Strawberry Slush. Strawberry Slush is a returning In Colour from about 10 years ago that is a beautiful pink/red colour.

For today's card I used the Painted Stripes Background stamp and the Impressions Abloom stamp set.

The flowers from the Impressions Abloom stamp set were stamped in Strawberry Slush on Basic White and Bubble Bath cardstock. They were cut out with the co ordinating dies.

The Painted Stripes stamp was also stamped in Strawberry Slush on Basic White cardstock. The leaves are cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock. The oval background is cut from a piece of Country Woods DSP.

Here's an upcoming sale from Stampin' Up! Check out the link to the Suite Collection so you can start making your list!

New In Colour Secret Sea Peaceful View

It's time to share the card I  made for this week's team Instagram Hop. We are featuring another of the new In Colours, Secret Sea. Secret Sea is a dark, inky blue that is almost black.

For this card I used the Peaceful View stamp set from the new Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

I first stamped the image on Basic White card stock. I used Blending Brushes to add Cloud Cover and Darling Duckling to the background.

The greeting is from the Simply Said Mix and Match stamp set, that was heat embossed on a small piece of Secret Sea card stock.
While I had the stamp out I used it on a piece of DSP from the Beautiful Gallery DSP.

To make it easier to decide which DSP to use with this stamp I stamped the image on window sheet with Stazon Black Ink. Stazon ink dries and sets on the window sheet as it is an alcohol based ink. It gave me a template to lie over different DSP to see what it would look like stamped. I'm going to keep this in my stamp case for future reference.

This card was mounted on Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow card stock.

New In Colour 2025-2027 Darling Duckling

Tonight's card feature's another of our new In Colours, Darling Duckling. I have used a combination of old and new products to create this card.
I started by stamping the daisy image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set. I inked the stamp in Versamark first the immediately inked in Basic Gray before stamping on Fluid Water Colour paper. I heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder to produce a shiny, raised image.

I coloured the image with a Water Painter and ink colours Darling Duckling, Mossy Meadow and Basic Gray. I cut the image with the co ordinating die and then mounted it on the scalloped oval dies piece from the Unbounded Love dies.

I embossed the Darling Duckling background with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. I gently sponged White Craft ink over the raised damask images with a Sponge Dauber to highlight them.

New In Colour 2025-2027 Cloud Cover Fancy Fold

Welcome to the first week of the Insta Hop with the Art With Heart Team for 2025-2026. If you would like to follow the hop please head to my Instagram page
@handstamped_by_rachel.

I made tonight's card with one of the new DSP from the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue, called Beautiful Gallery. I really, really hate cutting into a piece of beautiful DSP so I was happy that this card uses a whole sheet of paper.

I cut a 2" piece off the right hand side of the DSP sheet and then trimmed across the top to of both pieces to 14cm.

For the card base I started with half an A4 sheet of cardstock. I scored the long side at 10.5 cm and 5.25cm. I folded the card in half and then folded back the front piece on the score line.

The front DSP piece was matted on a piece of Secret Sea cardstock. Secret Sea is another of the new 2025-2027 In Colours.

If you would like a copy of the new catalogue and do not already have a demonstrator please contact me and I will get one to you.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel
