Multi Coloured Nuts & Bolts

How cute are these robots? This card is one of the projects we completed on my stamping day in March.

 Giving the attendees a range of colours to choose from helped to reduce the waiting time for specific colours of Blends Markers.

The main colours used are Flirty Flamingo, Misty Moonlight and Granny Apple Green, all colours in Pattern Party DSP which is a current hostess reward. 

The HB2U greeting was heat embossed in white and punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop week 42 Shaded Spruce

 

It's week 42 of the Art With Heart Colour Creation Blog Hop and we are featuring Shaded Spruce which is a deep, rich green colour from the Stampin' Up! Regals colour family.

To make this week's card I have used the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set and the Baby Wipe Technique.   

The Baby Wipe Technique involves starting with an ordinary baby wipe, folded in half and covering an area large enough for your stamp with drips of different coloured inks. Use ink refills and drip them directly onto the baby wipe. Cover all white space in the area you need. Make sure you lay the baby wipe on a tray or plate as it will soak through.

The ink colours I used for this card were Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz.

The strip of DSP along the left side is from the Regal 6"x 6" DSP pack and the green twine is from the Fan Bakers Twine Pack.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop week 41 - Sahara Sand

 

Hello stampers, welcome to week 41 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week is we are featuring one of our Neutrals colours Sahara Sand.

I thought Sahara Sand, which is a pale gray-brown colour, would be a perfect Easter Bunny colour.

I stamped the bunny image from the Easter Friends stamp set on to Fluid 100 Watercolour paper with Stazon Ink. I used Stazon ink as I wanted to water colour the image and Stazon ink is waterproof.

I coloured the bunny with Sahara Sand and a tiny bit of Blushing Bride ink for his nose using a Water Painter brush.

The pretty blue sky background is a piece of Beauty of the Earth DSP cut using one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The two grass pieces are from a different sheet of Beauty of the Earth DSP cut with one of the Horizon Dies.

Some grass stamped on the card front in Sahara Sand ink and a piece of white twine are the final touches.
