Colour Creations Blog Hop - week 49 Soft Succulent Succulents

Welcome to week 49 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Each week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours. We are nearly to the end of our blog hops for this  catalogue year, which is just as well as the new catalogue starts on the 2nd of May. This week we are featuring Soft Succulent, which is one of the 2021-2023 In Colours that is retiring shortly.
I couldn't resist, this week I used to the Simply Succulent stamp set and Potted Succulents Dies to feature Soft Succulent. I stamped the main image in Evening Evergreen ink and the coloured with Blends Markers. As the core Stampin' Up! colours are water based they are suitable for colouring with the Blends Markers. The colours used are listed below.

The background piece is cut using a Deckled Rectangle Die and has been embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders 3pack, which is one of our Online Exclusives. See all of the Online Exclusives in my online store.

The background DSP is a piece of Delicate Desert DSP.

I highlighted some of the points of the succulents with the Colour Lifter Blends. The greeting is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set.

Unfortunately many of the products used to make this card are retiring and only available until the end  of April.

New Cheerful Daisies Bundle

It's nearly time for a new Stampin' Up! catalogue and one of the perks of being a demonstrator is receiving pre order products before they are available to customers.

This first collection on cards was made using the new Cheerful Daisies Bundle and the co ordinating DSP, Fresh as a Daisy.

This year Stampin' Up! are having a colour refresh. There are 11 colours leaving the colour range and 11 new ones. 7 of them are returning favourites, you can see them all here and 4 are brand new colours which you can see here.

To colour the daisies I used Bubble Bath(pale pink), and Berry Burst. The background DSP has Pretty Peacock and Garden Green.

For the next card I used Pebbled Path, one of the new In Colours and Lemon Lolly which is a beautiful soft yellow.
I coloured the center of the flowers with Wild Wheat which is another of the new In Colours.

The last card I have to share with you today has three differently coloured daisies. The top flowers are coloured with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo. The center of the flowers are Orchid Oasis. The middle flower is Melon Mambo and Orchid Oasis, with Orchid Oasis in the center also. The lower flowers are Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo, with Orchid Oasis and Pebbled Path in the centers, The leaves are cut from Garden Green and the card base is Pebbled Path with Layering Designs Vellum behind the flowers.

I hope you're as excited about these new products as I am. I'll be back in a few days with some more samples. All of these products are available from the 2nd of May.

Please contact me with any questions.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 48 - Soft Sea Foam Tea

Hello stampers, here we are for week 48 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week we have been featuring one of the fabulous Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are featuring Soft Sea Foam. Soft Sea Foam is a lovely soft pale green colour that is in our Subtles colour family. Thankfully this colour is staying in the Stampin' Up! colour range.

For my card I have used the Cup of Tea Bundle. I stamped one of the cup images in Versamark on Soft Sea Foam card stock and heat embossed in White Embossing Powder. I coloured the design on the cup with Soft Sea Foam ink and Water Painters.

Before I stamped the greenery images to go in the cup I inked in Soft Sea Foam ink then added some Pear Pizzazz ink with a Sponge Dauber. The other foliage in the cup is cut using one of the Queen Bee Dies and Pear Pizzazz card stock. The white flowers were cut using the Queen Bee Dies and Basic White card stock. I coloured the inside of the flowers with Soft Sea Foam Ink and a Water Painter.

The frame around the cup is cut from Basic White card stock from one of the Framed Florets Dies. Attention!! This die set is discontinued and only available for a limited time! It's very hard to see in the photos but the background DSP is from the Hello Irresistible Paper Pack.

Now it's time to head over to Andrea Sargent's blog to see what delightful project she has to share with us.
