Art With Heart Blog Hop July - Designer Series Paper

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring designer series paper. This month, Stampin’ Up! have a special on designer series paper, buy 3, get 1 free! We hope our blog hop inspires you to get crafting with your designer series paper.

The Designer Series Paper I have chosen to use for my projects today is the Wood Textures Paper. This is the second year this paper has been available and I still love it! It comes as a 6" x  6" stack, and there are 12 different designs, w
ith 4 sheets of each design, total of 48 sheets in the pack.

These first two cards use Wood Textures DSP as a neutal background.

This card features a die cut from the Botanical Tags Thinlits, with the embossed and stamped images from the coordinating Botanical Bliss stamp set.

This card used the Very Vintage Hostess set, with the main image embossed in White Embossing Powder. I coloured over the embossing with Blends Markers in Flirty Flamingo, Cherry Cobbler and Call Me Clover. The beautiful die across the bottom of the card is from the Delicate Lace Edgelits.

The final card was cased from a fellow demonstrator, Melissa Stout. It's a great way to use up those thin strips of DSP. This technique shows many of the designs in the Wood Textures stack and could easily be used with any of the other DSP packs as each of them contains 12 different but coordinating designs. The greeting is from the Lots of Happy kit.

For more information on any of these projects and the supplies used, feel free to contact me.

The next stop on our Blog Hop is the lovely Leanne Mitchell, who has some more beautiful projects to share with you.
