Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 3 - Bermuda Bay

Welcome to the third week of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase, this week featuring Bermuda Bay.

The colour combination I have used on my card is below.

I'm a bit concerned that it is only mid June and I have made my first Christmas card already. I'm blaming the beautiful Arrange A Wreath Bundle that is new in the 2020-21 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. This bundle appealed to me immediately as I think it will be useful for cards for numerous occasions.

I used Bermuda Bay card stock for the wreath, which I cut out twice. The third wreath was cut from Vellum card stock. The poinsettias are cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock, twice for each flower. I placed five small rhinestones in the center of each poinsettia.

The background Pretty Peacock card stock was embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. This layer was then matted on a piece of Silver Foil paper.

The greeting was heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder onto a scrap of Pretty Peacock card stock. The ribbon bow was attached with a couple of Glue Dots.
I'm off to play further with this set, perhaps something using the partridge or the smaller flowers.

Happy stamping,
