Welcome to the Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Showcase. Each week we will be featuring on of the Stampin' Up! colours, in alphabetical order. The first colour we are featuring is Balmy Blue.
For my first card I have paired Balmy Blue with Petal Pink, Whisper White and Night of Navy.
The stamp set I have used is called Tasteful Touches and the coordinating dies are called Tasteful Labels.
For my second card I have paired Balmy Blue with Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Old Olive. The DSP in the background is from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.
The stamp set I used is called Beautiful World and the coordinating dies are called World Map Dies. I water coloured a piece of Watercolour paper with Balmy Blue and Old Olive and then stamped the globe in Early Espresso.
The buckle on the Faux Suede Ribbon is from the Antiqued Corners and Slides Elements.
I will be back soon with more inspiration from the new 2020-2021 Catalogue.

Great cards, Rach. I especially love the colour combination, and all the elements you used, in the first one. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Rachel, please don't ask my to pick a favourite they are both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Rachel, I love the feather stamp and the beautiful colour choice for the first card. I really like the water colouring of the globe and the buckle on the Trim of the second card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Rachel - the touch of pink really pops in your first card and I love how you've used the Balmy Blue in watercolour to add the ocean to the world in your second card. Very clever!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the first card with the feathers is my favourite. I love that colour combination and the simplicity of it, lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic cards Rachel. The first one is very cool with all the feathers I love it. I really do like the look of that globe I will have to have a play with that set. I am a sucker for old globes wish I had a mansion sometimes so I could have a room to put one in but wouldn't want to do the cleaning. LOL Gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Rachel. Especially the first one would never have thought to use Petal pink in this combo but it goes beautifully
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Rachel. So love the simplicity and colours of your card of feathers. And the watercoloured world globe is so clever. Love your use of the suede ribbon and the buckle. Your cards are both gorgeous and so different.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards, Rachel! The feather card is so pretty, and I love the embossed label behind the sentiment. And great colouring of your globe and what a lovely combination of colour with the Early Espresso. I just love the faux suede trim and buckle element - it looks gorgeous!
